A Strange Way of Teaching

It’s amazing how something could be broken by a single snap
It’s funny how a single phrase can lead a relationship to collapse
It’s disturbing how someone you know years ago, suddenly became a stranger to you years after
It’s ironic that you once promised “forever” then left as if that word doesn’t matter

If this is what the world desires to happen, then I don’t have the right to object
If this is how the world wants me to learn, then I don’t have the right to reject

For as I know that someone out there, no matter what happens, for better and for worse, would stay by my side
For as I know, that every crisis and ease, would be served as my guide
