Monday morning swung round like a punch in the face. Literally. Kyungsoo had started his morning nose-diving onto the floor, it must have been worth at least a score of eight, leaving a red print on his left cheek. He went about following his normal weekly work routine: cooking up some breakfast (making sure it was for two this time), making his coffee for his flask to drink on the way and getting dressed in his formal suit; as quietly as possible as not to wake Kai from his much needed sleep. 

       With a large sigh, he picked up his coffee and house keys, having left a still warm bowl of food for Kai, and stepped out of the house.

Kyungsoo did not like the sound of that. He fumbled with the keys as the continual crashing continued behind his door. He fell through the doorframe as the door opened and fell straight into a persons arms. Kai. Kyungsoo found it hard to look up at the others face because of the sheer force Kai was holding Kyungsoo to his chest.

"Errr... Kai? What are you doing?"

Kyungsoo was pushed at arms length away from Kai, with hands still holding tightly onto his shoulders, uncertain of whether Kyungsoo would stay put.

"You left! I tried to find you but you disappeared! I couldn't smell your scent in the apartment! I panicked!"

Kyungsoo looked around at the cushions sprawled on the floor and the open kitchen cabinets. Did Kai seriously consider whether Kyungsoo had hidden in the cabinets. He wasn't that small. Was he?

Kai seemed to be crying of joy the next moment, as he opted to pull Kyungsoo back into another tight hug that had Kyungsoo on his tippy toes. Damn tall people.

"But you came back like you said you would! You didn't leave me! I was so happy to see you come through that door!"

Kyungsoo  wouldn't have been surprised if the boy had broke into tears right that moment, considering the way he was going. At least the guy wasn't scared of him anymore, though. The whole owner thing must have been quite important to Kai, putting his trust into a stranger he'd only known for a few days. I suppose his instincts have always been correct if he relies on them that much; Kyungsoo wasn't going to hurt Kai in any way and had no bad intentions, bar Chanyeol, so they must've seen something ownerlike about him.
