Foreword

CHAPTER ONE

Early in the morning, my phone was ringing, it’s a call from Doctor Kim.

I quickly pick it up and answered it. Doctor Kim said that my brother’s body was getting weaker and weaker. His cancer cells in his stomach has started to spread to his others organs.

I then quickly ran towards the bathroom and did my morning routines. After that, I got ready and ran down the stairs from my apartment. I rushed to the bus station, to catch the first bus in the morning. Luckily I was not late.

The bus station was very crowded. Once the bus came everyone was squeezing and pushing to get into the bus. I am one of those crazy people who pushes people out of the bus to get myself a place to stand and EWW!  The person beside me is sweating, as if he is bathing.

I got off the bus after 5 stations.

The hospital was in front of me, I let out a small sigh which is not heard by anyone but only me.

I walked in to the lift while praying that my brother will be safe.

The moment I reached his room noticing that he is not there, I started to panic and ran to the nurse reception to ask them where my brother is.  “May I know where my brother, Rayner Smith is?! “ I asked panicking.  One of the nurses told me that she will check it now. “Miss Ashley, please calm down. We do not know where your brother is but we will call our staff to search for him. “ she said in a panic voice too.  That instant I felt like crying out loud. My heart is beating so fast that it just won’t slow down.
