Apink finished putting their make up and went for their rehearsals.

After their rehearsals, they were heading to eat, when she heard someone calling her name

 "Eunji sshi!"

“Yae Youngjae sshi” she replied after seeing Youngjae running towards her

“Hey, you guys go on, I’ll join you later.” Eunji told the members and walked towards Youngjae

“Eunji sshi, is your head all right now?” Youngjae asked

“Yeah, its as good as it ever was!” Eunji replied

Eunji found Youngjae quite easygoing, and got along pretty well for two people meeting for the first time. They ended talking about their schedules, Eunji’s drama and other mundane stuffs for quite a while..

“Eunji sshi, you are a 93-er right?”

“Yea, why?”

“You see, since I am an early 94-er, and since we seem to get on well, can we talk informally from now on?” Youngjae asked

“I even talk to Daehyun informally!” Youngjae added

“Is Daehyun sshi a 93-er too?” Eunji asked, curiously

“Yeah he is. So is it all right?” Youngjae asked hopefully

Finding him quite fun to be with Eunji agreed with a smile

“Yea, sure”

In the end, they exchanged their numbers and parted ways

“Unni, what took you so long?” Hayoung asked as Eunji entered the waiting room

“Sorry, sorry, I was talking to Youngjae and we ended up talking for a while.”

“Woah unni, I really envy you..You are able to befriend people so easily…”, Hayoung said wistfully

Eunji grabbed her kimbap and started munching on it

“mmm….He seems pretty outgoing too…..mmm…..In fact all the members seem pretty friendly “ (except one) Eunji said in between munching.

“Hayoung ah, I’m going to get some fresh air all right? Call me when its our turn to record all right?”

“Nae unni!”

Eunji ended up sitting on a bench beside a vending machine. There was nobody there, and it was peaceful. It felt good to be alone in a quiet place after so long. She closed her eyes, and in no time was nodding off..

She woke up with a jolt when her mobile rang.

Aishh I must have fallen asleep.

“Yeah, Hayoung ah, I’m coming!” Eunji answered the phone.

As she was about to leave, she noticed a can of hot cocoa by her side. There was a note attached to it that said “Eunji! Fighting! Keep smiling!”

That’s so sweet.. But who drinks a hot cocoa in summer anyways? Thought Eunji

Wait, there is someone.. a smile formed on her lips as she remembered that day….

##Flashback##

It was summer of 2002, their last summer together…

They were playing together in the park when suddenly Daehyun declared “I am thirsty”

“Let’s go buy some drinks then! I am feeling thirsty too!” Hyerim replied.

They went in search of vending machine, and when they finally found one, Eunji had hard time deciding what to drink.

“Hyunnie, what are going to drink?”

“I’m drinking hot chocolate!”

“But Hyunnie, its summer, so there are no hot drinks here…”

“Then I am going to get it from somewhere else” ,
