The First Hangout

Why Did I Fall In Love With You?

Kyungsoo stood in front of the school gates Monday morning with a sigh. He had been going nuts trying to decide whether he should accompany Jongin to detention or not. There was obviously a reason why he hadn’t told him that he would take the blame for their actions, but nonetheless it was highly unfair in Kyungsoo’s opinion.

During math Kyungsoo glanced at his seat mate every now and then, but Jongin just sat there taking notes, face indifferent from the rest of the world.

The day passed by and Kyungsoo couldn’t help but follow Jongin to detention. He stopped once he saw how his seat mate entered the classroom and leaned against the wall to contemplate if he should enter or not. After a rather long moment of thinking Kyungsoo neared the door, knocked on it and peeked his head inside.

”Yes, Mr. Do?” Mr. Song said when he saw him open the door gently.

”I-I was just… I don’t know.” Kyungsoo answered, leaning his body slowly inside the room.

”Take a seat if you would like.”

Kyungsoo glanced over the classroom and saw Jongin sitting in the corner with a very confused look. Ilhoon, his classmate, was also there, but he looked like he would fall asleep anytime soon. Kyungsoo nodded toward Mr. Song and went to sit next to Jongin; although when he heard someone clear his throat he stopped in his tracks immediately.

”Kyungsoo, this is detention, not English. Go sit somewhere else.”

”I’m sorry, Mr. Song.” Kyungsoo said with his head hung low and with his face flushed from the embarrassment. Without a word Kyungsoo went to sit on the other side of the classroom.

He hurried to get out of the classroom as soon they were notified that they could leave. It had been a terrible idea to attend the detention. Everything froze once he’d settled down and the horrible sensation of being unwanted had taken over Kyungsoo’s thoughts.

Suddenly someone stopped him in the hallway by taking a hold of his arm and he turned around, already suspecting who it could be.

”What were you doing in there?” Jongin asked with a serene face.

Kyungsoo just stood there glancing up at the much taller guy.

”What were you thinking?” Jongin asked again.

”I just wanted to help out somehow, bare the burden between both of us.”

”Don’t.” Jongin gave him a stern look before walking away.

Why’s he behaving like that?

⋆⋆⋆⋆

”So you’re saying that he’s taking extra detention just so you don’t have to?” Baekhyun asked with his eyebrow arched.

”No, no. I’m saying that he’s taking extra detention because he wants to himself.” Kyungsoo said eating one of his fishcakes.

Kyungsoo was sitting with his two newly made friends at the dining table and for once he had someone to talk to about what happened in school.

”I think it’s cute.” Luhan said with his mouth full of salad.

”I think he feels guilty for whatever happened the other day, which, for your information, you haven’t told us yet.” Baekhyun said intrigued.

Kyungsoo fought down a blush from appearing on his cheeks and swallowed hard the kimchi in his mouth.

”Eh… Let’s take that another time…” He answered, secretly glancing at Luhan who was munching on his bread and because of that missing the slight frown Baekhyun pulled. ”Although I have to agree with you Baekhyun. I feel like he feels guilty but doesn’t for some reason want me to get involved.”

”Still, cute.” Luhan muttered, still munching on his bread.

”We should hang out together outside of school.” Baekhyun announced out of the blue.

Luhan chirped in excitement, but rapidly regained his composure and pretending it never happened. ”Yeah, totally man.”

”When?” Kyungsoo asked, although not missing Baekhyun rolling his eyes at Luhan.

”Not on school days, school’s giving me lemons these days.” Baekhyun answered.

”We can be at my house this Friday! My parents won’t even be there!” Luhan said and almost clapped his hands excitedly.

”Sounds like plan.” Kyungsoo nodded at Baekhyun’s answer.

Jongin had been ignoring Kyungsoo the whole week and the older didn’t even know why. Kyungsoo stopped going to detention, even if the guilt itched in his chest he knew it was better to stay away.

The Tuesday had been specially awkward. Everything had gone alright until English arrived. It was their first time having classes with 1B and they had too meet up inside the main building. Kyungsoo was rather lost when he went inside the building to find the classrooms-section, but then someone tapped him on the shoulder. Kyungsoo turned around surprised to see who it was and smiled at the result.

”Hi.” Sehun said with a smile.

”Hi.”

”You lost too?”

”Yeah…” Kyungsoo laughed.

”Wanna go together?” Sehun asked nicely.

”We usually find the way together, so why not?” He smiled back.

Sehun nodded and smiled even brighter. After a moment or two they found the classroom on the second floor, ’auditorium' marked right above the door. They looked at each other confused but entered anyways.

”Oh, there you are! I almost thought you got lost!” Mrs. Kang said with a welcoming expression. ”Take a seat, take a seat.”

Kyungsoo hovered his sight over room and found a large amount of student sitting rather dispersed. Since neither of them had a clue where to sit the older took the lead and marched up the stairs. Kyungsoo spotted Jongin sitting alone in the middle and he was just about to go and sit beside him when he considered it to be a bad decision since Sehun was following. The thought of them two having to sit close made him uncomfortable because of what’d happened in the dining room and he definitely did not want to attract more attention. Instead, he opted to sit two rows behind in the corner, Sehun by his side.

Although it became uncomfortable anyway because of the strange glances his seat mate threw them every now and then.

Why’s he looking up at us all the time?

⋆⋆⋆⋆

Wednesday had been better. Kyungsoo knew that he had History with 1B and he kind of looked forward to it. At least he wasn’t being ignored by Sehun, nor looked at strangely by the younger.

History turned out to be held in the same classroom, the auditorium, so Sehun and Kyungsoo went to where they’d last sat. Kyungsoo spotted Jongin sitting down where he’d sat last time as well. At least this time Jongin had focused more on the lesson than on him.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

Friday the 11th arrived much sooner than the petite boy had expected and he found himself once again lost on the way to the shared lesson. Although it turned out that the art class was much easier to find than the auditorium.

This time the classroom was different. Once he entered through the doors he saw about ten groups of tables for four students to sit by. Everyone took a random seat and Kyungsoo just sat down where he found an empty chair.

”Hello boys!” Mrs. Hwa said when they had all sat down.

”Good morning Mrs. Hwa.” They bowed and answered in a monotone voice.

”Good morning! This will be the lesson where you’ll bond and get to know the opposite class better. Today is the start of new and great friendships!” She said happily, although nobody was really convinced. ”Alright, alright, not on the mood, I get it.”

Mrs. Hwa turned around and took out a little box out of her briefcase, leaning on the front desk as she opened up.

”We’ll start with the disposition.”

Disposition?

”I want you all to stand up.”

The students started to look at each other confused but did as they were told anyway.

”I am aware of that each and one of you have a seat mate, right?” Many students nodded. ”Good. Now, I want you all to stand up in a row facing the door with your seat mate on your side.”

Kyungsoo searched for Jongin with his eyes and saw Sehun instead approaching a guy he had never seen before and walk up to the door together. He sighed when he thought about how his own seat mate would probably just keep ignoring him. Kyungsoo’s thoughts were confirmed when he spotted Jongin standing in the row alone. With another sigh he went to stand beside him.

”Great! Now you’ll get to pick one pice of paper, and only one, out of this box. The number you’ll get is the number of the table you’ll sit at with you partner and another couple, alright?” Kyungsoo cringed slightly at the way she addressed them.

When their turn came Kyungsoo looked at Jongin as if mentally asking who would pick the number and without even acknowledging him Jongin did it himself. Kyungsoo chuckled and shook his head slightly at the action. Without a word Jongin lead him to one of the tables in the back and sat right infront of a familiar face.

Sehun brightened up when he saw Kyungsoo sit down beside him.

”Hi.” The blonde smiled.

”Hi.” Kyungsoo imitated his action.

”I was hoping we’d get the same table.” Sehun admitted shyly.

”Yeah, me too.” Kyungsoo confessed, his smile still on his face.

”Get a room.”

Kyungsoo looked at his right, surprised when he heard Jongin’s voice say those words. That was the first thing he had said to him in a week.

”Excuse me?” Kyungsoo asked, expression turning sour immediately.

But their little conversation ended right away as the teacher showed them a small room that had its entrance right behind Sehun’s seat, which contained all their art supplies. She assigned them to paint what they felt with the new combination of seat mates.

When Kyungsoo got what he needed he couldn’t help but paint the left part of the paper colorful and the right with only shades of gray, leaving the upper part completely blank.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

After school Kyungsoo found himself inside a white SUV Porsche with Luhan behind the wheel.

”Are you sure this is safe?” Kyungsoo asked as he skeptically put on the seatbelt behind the empty copilot’s seat, Baekhyun on his left.

”Of course! I got my license this summer.” Luhan answered happily, apparently without taking any offense at all.

Baekhyun patted his shoulder and gave him a sarcastic but reassuring nod.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

”Welcome to my house Kyungsoo!” Luhan said as he extended his arms to show him how magnificent his house was. And it truly was.

Kyungsoo looked at it impressed. Luhan’s house was white on the outside, two pillars on each side of the entrance and two visible floors. The front yard was huge, flowers all over the place and a gardner taking care of them. It was more classic than modern.

But even though Kyungsoo truly was impressed the only words he could mutter out were ”Not bad.”

And suddenly a laud laugh was heard behind of him.

”Luhan, why don’t we swim in the pool so you can cool down those burns.” Baekhyun cracked up.

The oldest of them scoffed and send both of them a glare. What Luhan couldn’t understand was why suddenly Kyungsoo also started laughing.

”Aw, you looked adorable!” Baekhyun said in-between laughs.

”Yeah, really cute hyung.” Kyungsoo added.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

”So… What do we do?” Luhan asked. They sat down in the living room and none of them said much.

”Do you have two spare swim shorts?” Baekhyun asked and stood up to look at the back yard through the window.

”You were actually serious about swimming before, weren’t you?” Kyungsoo asked, a bit intimidated about the thought.

”Yeah, although maybe it’s a bit chilly to be outside.” He answered pensively.

”We can always take to indoor one.” Luhan proposed.

”Let’s go then!” Baekhyun ran upstairs, followed by the other two.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

Kyungsoo looked around as he walked with Luhan to the latter’s room. It was a quite big place, although with barely any halls and therefore most of the family pictures were small and put on surfaces.

When they arrived Baekhyun was already inside the walk-in closet looking for the swim shorts.

”Where are they? I can’t find them-” Baekhyun was cut off when Luhan chuckled, opened a drawer and threw him a pair.

”Here you go.” He said as he walked up to Kyungsoo and gave him his. ”I hope they fit.”

”Thanks.”

⋆⋆⋆⋆

After they’d changed, Kyungsoo in the bathroom, Luhan had led them downstairs. Kyungsoo wasn’t very comfortable in only wearing shorts because of his body complex, being so tiny and small and all, but he found it less difficult to adapt when he noticed that neither Baekhyun nor Luhan were particularly fit. He didn’t feel just as exposed as he felt inside the locker rooms.

When they reached the basement Luhan unlocked one of the doors and let them inside. A beautiful, moderately sized pool appeared in front of them, colorful lights shining up the room from the bottom.

Baekhyun threw his clothes to the side and screamed, running towards the pool and jumping inside without even thinking about it twice.

Water splashed everywhere and both Luhan and Kyungsoo shrieked when they got wet.

”Yah! Byun Baekhyun! How many times do I have to say to not jump in the water when I’m near? Now I’m all wet!” Luhan whined. And to Kyungsoo’s surprise Baekhyun only grinned and winked as a response.

Kyungsoo and Luhan put their things on the chairs that were places right by the wall before getting closer to the edge of the pool.

”Well, I guess were going to get wet anyways so…” Luhan said as they both approached the water. Kyungsoo yelped when seemingly out of nowhere he was pushed into the water.

Bubbles surrounded him and a quick flashback of the festival past through his mind before he got up above the surface. He heard the other two laughing and Kyungsoo decided at that moment that he wouldn’t think about the incident at the festival at all when he was with his friends.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

”So Kyung… Tell us what happened with that Jongin guy the other day.” Baekhyun said as leaned closer and wiggled his eyebrows.

They were sitting in Luhan’s Jacuzzi, which was located right beside the pool. It was round and spacious enough for them to stretch out their legs, but they were still rather close to each other. Kyungsoo sat with Baekhyun on his left and Luhan on his right, the three of them making a triangle if looked from above.

Kyungsoo’s blush was thankfully covered by the heat that had tainted his face red.

”I… Nothing really happened though…” He looked down embarrassed.

”Come on Kyung, we wanna know!” Luhan whined but grinned to the fact that they were making the youngest embarrassed.

”Alright, alright… But only if you tell us what happened with Sehun after.”

”Deal.”

”Okay, so, we had this project…” Kyungsoo trailed off when he noticed the excited looks on both of them and laughed. ”You’ll explode if I don’t tell you right?”

”I think I might, yes.” Luhan answered, Baekhyun rolling his eyes but nonetheless with a smile on his face.

”Continue, please.”

”Right, so, we were in one of the privet rooms discussing the topic of our essay and suddenly we hear this loud noise. Like someone was hitting the wall or something.”

Baekhyun reacted surprised, but Luhan looked rather suspicious.

”And I thought something had happened and wanted to go check if it was an emergency or something and then Jongin gets in the way saying that I can’t do this and I can’t do that. I swear I was going to punch him if he continued saying that I had nothing to do with the ’neighbors’ business.” Kyungsoo sighed frustrated. ”And then he gets this crazy idea that we should get into the ventilation system to spy on the guy next door. Spy!”

Kyungsoo heard Baekhyun gasp slightly, although he missed Luhan’s eyes widening.

”And somehow he got inside and dragged me up there. And that’s when…” Kyungsoo trailed off looking at Luhan.

”When you what Kyung?” Luhan said softly, not breaking the eye-contact.

”When we saw Sehun trying to clean up the mess he had made.”

”I knew it!” Luhan suddenly shouted. ”I knew I heard something from above! Although I never imagined it could’ve been you though…”

”In my defense it was not my fault, I wanted to knock on the door instead of almost crushing Jongin when we fell.”

”Woah, wait, wait, wait a second here. When you fell? Like, together?” Baekhyun interrupted. Still absorbing all the information.

”I- yeah, I fell on top of Jongin when we were getting out of the vents and… yeah…”

”That’s when we found you.” Luhan nodded understanding. ”I have to admit that you two looked fine togeth-”

So, what did you and Sehun do?” Kyungsoo interrupted.

”This Tao guy, he’s a by the way, cheated on him and Sehun was a mess. We talked and he told me he was… you know, into guys, but he seemed really shy about it and- wait. Why am I telling you this? You already know, you were there.”

”Hello? I’m here too.” Baekhyun knocked on Luhan’s head.

”Right. Well, I just happened to have been called so he asked me to come over and so. Although we had this special moment, you know? I think we bonded really tight and-”

”Luhan, I told you this before, you really have to stop dreaming. He’s fifteen!”

”Kyungsoo’s fifteen and he’s in my jacuzzi right now.”

”Yeah, but you’re not planning to make out with Kyungsoo, are you?”

”Not right now, no.”

”Exactly! So-”

Okay guys, let’s leave this topic before it gets out of control.” Kyungsoo budged in with an awkward laugh, trying to avoid imagining himself making out with Luhan.

No, thank you.

”Fine.”

”Fine.”

Both males crossed their arms simultaneously and looked away from each other. Kyungsoo sighed, but somehow sensed what could made them talk to each other again.

”And I’m sixteen for your information”

What?” The answer was immediate from both sides.

”That was easy.” Kyungsoo laughed.

”You never told us!” Baekhyun said, earning an agreeing nod from Luhan.

”Uh… Well, now you know.” Kyungsoo scratched his neck awkwardly. He hated opening up about himself to others, even if it only was about his age.

”But I thought you were a freshman!”

”Yeah!” Baekhyun agreed. Kyungsoo could’ve sworn they were more intrigued now than when he told the ventilation story.

”I’m repeating my freshman year here…” Kyungsoo was shying away slowly.

”Wait, so you should’ve been a sophomore? I wasn’t expecting that.” Baekhyun said.

”Yeah, me neither. But why?” Luhan asked.

Kyungsoo sat quietly for a while, thinking about how the hell he was going to explain without revealing too much. Apparently he had been quiet a bit longer than he’d thought.

”Kyungsoo?” Luhan’s hand was waving in front of his face.

”Oh, yeah, sorry. Um…” Kyungsoo started fumbling with his hands. ”I changed schools in the middle of the semester… and since it wasn’t possible to join right away I… I just decided to go the easy way and start over again.” He couldn’t believe he got that out without even stuttering. Kyungsoo sighed in relief as he realized he was improving step by step.

”Oh…” All three of them stayed quiet a moment before Luhan bursted.

”So… do you like guys?”

”Luhan!” Baekhyun hit his best friend on the arm. ”Kyung, you don’t have to answer that. It’s alright if you don’t.”

But Kyungsoo was frozen in with a blush spreading over his ears and cheeks, eyes bigger than normal.

”I-”

”Look, I’m gay, as you know.” Luhan said flashed a smile. ”And this jerk here can’t really decide because he dated this girl when he was little but he is definitely gay.”

”I used to like girls!” Baekhyun defended.

”Oh please, you’re just as gay as I am. Do you really think I haven’t seen you apply a thick line over your eyes with your eyeliner and then see if you would look good with famous guys on the internet?”

Baekhyun’s eyes widened. ”I-I was just testing…” He stuttered.

”Yeah, like fifteen times or more.” Luhan answered.

Kyungsoo couldn’t help but laugh. But that just attracted their attention.

”So, Kyung, do you have something with this Jong guy?” Luhan wiggled his eyebrows.

Kyungsoo choked on his own saliva. ”W-what? No!”

”It almost looks like he likes you.” Luhan gave him a nudge.

”It does look a little like that though.” Baekhyun pinpointed.

”N-no, it’s not like that. He ignores me all the time and he doesn’t want me to be near him in reality. I think he hates me.” Kyungsoo stated, not mentioning the weird stares he had received from the said guy just the other day.

”But do you like him?”

”No.” Kyungsoo hadn’t been so firm in a long time.

But Luhan wasn’t convinced. His face told everything.

”Any girlfriends then?” Baekhyun asked.

”No- I…” He paused. ”I like both I guess…” Kyungsoo finally said. It was easier than explaining the truth.

”I knew it!” Luhan shouted and stood up. ”Welcome to the gay family.” He said with a smile from ear to ear and reached out his hand.

Kyungsoo looked half freaked but half-smiled at the peculiar welcoming and shook Luhan’s hand.

”Thanks… I guess.”

They chatted and Kyungsoo got to know both boys better, coming to an inevitable conclusion — Luhan’s very chirpy but tries to hide it to prevent others judgmental stares and Baekhyun acts serious and rather monotone in school to keep his ’status’ but is in reality a mischievous kid that loves making fun of others and pranking them. Kyungsoo found himself enjoying his newfound friendship a lot more than he’d expected. He hadn’t had so much fun in a long time, if ever.

”Hey, wanna eat dinner with me?” Luhan suddenly asked, Baekhyun agreeing right away. ”What about you Kyung?”

”I’ll have to ask my parents, but sure.” Kyungsoo finally felt like he could relax and just let go and have fun.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

They got up from the water and ate the delicious food someone had prepared in the kitchen. Luhan eventually asked them if they wanted to sleep over as well and Kyungsoo found himself being happy and secure about his answer

”Yeah, why not?”

⋆⋆⋆⋆

Kyungsoo’s parents were a little bit skeptical at first, but he convinced them eventually.

The three of them went up to Luhan’s room once again to borrow some clothes. Luckily they were about the same size, although since Luhan was taller than Kyungsoo and Baekhyun the sleeves hung a bit over both’s wrists but it wasn’t a problem.

”Can we go to the forte?” Baekhyun asked excitedly.

”I thought we could even sleep there.”

Baekhyun jumped happily and excited he ran ahead of them into a room unknown to Kyungsoo.

”You’ll see.” Luhan grinned and guided the younger to the room.

It turned out to be a room, not too big, completely covered with mattresses, pillows and plushies. It was slightly more pink than any other color and what surprised Kyungsoo the most was that there were actual sheets hanging from the ceiling making it look like a forte. It sounded childish when Kyungsoo thought about it but it was one of the most amazing rooms he had ever had the chance to be in.

”Wow…” Kyungsoo said as he slowly went inside, amazed by every corner.

”Cool, right?” Baekhyun said from one of the corners, kind of crouching next to a little bureau with doors.

”Very.” Kyungsoo answered with a smile on his face as he plopped down right in the center, feeling soft materials saving his fall.

”Yah, Luhan! You only have these?” Baekhyun shouted at the elder who was busy taking out blankets from a bureau near the door.

”Isn’t that enough? It’s not like you can get drunk or anything.”

Kyungsoo’s head perked up and looked at Baekhyun surprised.

”True.” Baekhyun chuckled as he stood up with a bootle in one hand and three glasses in the other, closing the door of the bureau with his foot.

”Are we gonna drink alcohol?” Kyungsoo said incredulous. He had specifically told his parents that he wouldn’t.

”Only if you want to, we are not gonna force you into anything.” Luhan answered and took a seat beside him.

Baekhyun poured two glasses and looked at him questioningly.

”I-I think I’ll pass… I-if that’s okay…”

”Of course. Luhan you’re on your own.” Baekhyun said with a smirk.

”You know, one day you’ll get wasted and you’ll see the crazy things you will have the guts to do.”

”Let’s just hope it’s not soon.” Baekhyun laughed and they toasted before drinking.

”Don’t you ever get drunk or…?” Kyungsoo wondered.

”I just have really high tolerance. I’ve never been drunk yet so I’m always the last one remaining on parties.”

” balls man.” Luhan said after gulping down the whole glass in one go.

”And that’s why he’s always the first one to get drunk.” Baekhyun whispered to Kyungsoo, who laughed and saw how Luhan was already pouring his next glass.

”Stop whispering you and listen up here.” Luhan spoke up after swallowing a big gulp from his new refill. Baekhyun and Kyungsoo stopped chatting, but Luhan wasn’t satisfied. ”Come closer.”

Both of them raised their eyebrows but nonetheless jumped closer.

”There’s gonna be this huge party next week and we need to there.”

”A party?” Kyungsoo’s eyebrows were still raised. ”Who’s party?”

”This guy from our school. His birthday is soon and I think he’s like friends with the principal’s son or whatever but yeah he’ll be the one holding it.”

”The principal’s son?! Are you crazy luhan? What if we get caught?!” Baekhyun asked incredulously after hearing the suggestion his best friend made.

”It’s chill dude.” Luhan drank once more. ”I think the whole school’s invited or something.”

”We don’t even know who the birthday guy is!” Baekhyun argued.

”Baek calm your meatballs. He’s like family to the principal. I think we saw him making out with another dude in the library  the other day Kyung.” Another gulp.

”You mean the guy who hugged-”

”And it’ll be fun! And maybe even you can get drunk Baekkie!” Luhan interrupted.

”I doubt that…” Baekhyun answered.

”The downside is that the girls are also invited.” Luhan said with a frown.

”Don’t be so negative.”

”The girls?” Kyungsoo asked clueless.

”Yeah, like the female version of our school. It’s exactly the same but only for girls.” Baekhyun answered, Kyungsoo nodding understanding.

”But that’s a lot of people…” Kyungsoo said worriedly.

”Don’t worry! I heard that the principal’s house is like as big as the moon.” Luhan said with droopy eyes and a big smile. Baekhyun just shook his head as he drank up his drink.

”I think we should sleep.” Baekhyun stated.

”No! You party pooper! Kyungsoo and I are having fun, right Kyung-pie?” Luhan launched himself onto the younger and embraced him the best he could.

”Sure hyung.” Kyungsoo patted Luhan’s back until he heard soft snores.

⋆⋆⋆⋆

Monday creeped up on Kyungsoo and he soon realized that Luhan’s offer had wandered all over the school. He heard his classmates talk about the it and students in the corridors as well.

Heck, the whole dining room is sharing the same topic!

”So, what’s the plan? Are we going or not?” Baekhyun asked as they ate lunch together.

”I don’t know guys…” Kyungsoo answered slowly. He wasn’t very fond of parties.

”Come on Kyungsoo! It’ll be fun!” Luhan replied.

”Yeah, I mean, what’s the worst that can happen?” Baekhyun added, somehow convincing Kyungsoo.

Chapter 18: I have a terrible impression on tao. I know j shouldn't have one since I haven't heard his side of the story but it's kinda clear that he spends too much time with yifan... and yifan was totally okay with it. If anything I don't like yifan more than tao for knowing that he'd hurt sehun like that, his own friend, but continued in his stupid ways. I hope sehun spills everything to luhan and they grow a lot closer cause SEHUN U DONT DESERVE TO BE SO LONELY AND SAD U BEAUTIFUL CREATURE
