“Can you tell me what the heck is your problem?!”  Tao yelled at me as we entered our two-storey apartment. Don’t get it wrong we’re not together unfortunately we’re just apartment buddies, yea something like that unfortunately

I’ve been living in this lovely apartment for 3 months while Tao was like a year. Well you know the typical start of every new tenant on an apartment Tao and I were like cats and dogs he used to bully me, ate my cheesecake without my permission, and always asked me to do our monthly grocery shopping. But as the time goes on, we started warming up with each other we became friends, best friends, but lovers? Uhmm how about NO? There’s no chance that Tao will see me as a girl unfortunately but on my side, I always see him as a guy. Ironic huh? One sided love . Big time!!  

“Yah!! Kwon Min Hee!!” he held my wrist and tuned me around so that I can face him. He was frowning, he looked really angry, and trust me you wouldn’t like him when he’s angry

“What?” I chuckled putting my best smile

“Don’t what me!” he scoffed. “Now, tell me what your problem is. You’ve been ignoring me for a week!”

“Nothing!” I forced a laugh hoping that he will be that stupid to believe me. “I’m just tired, that’s all” giving him one last smile and I went inside my room, locked it and stare on my ceiling trying to control my tears

I’m ignoring him for a week; maybe I can do this for a year right? I decided to ignore him, knowing that my feelings for him will go on nothing but heart breaks unfortunately  Well, that Chinese girl is fine, a perfect girlfriend material, y, beautiful, thoughtful, strong, smart, all-in-one. Yea Tao will be happy with her. Unfortunately

FINE I ADMIT!! I’M KIND OF JEALOUS!! I saw them last week on a café looking happy, and trust me, Tao’s smiling during that day was epic, and the way he looked at her was epic. I wish he can smile and look at me the way he did with her, but that will never happen. Unfortunately

I was about to close my eyes when my locked door suddenly opened. I was about to freak out when I remembered that Tao has my back–up key

I sat up and looked at him with my happy face.

“Why?” I asked him.

“How about I ask you that question?” he cocked his head on the other side. “Why, Min Hee? Why are you ignoring me for a week?” he entered my room. I stood up.

“So what if I’m ignoring you for a week? Like that matters” my btch mode was on.

“It does matters!”

“Stop yelling please! I’m just in front of you.” I rolled my eyes at him I was about to leave him when he held my wrist and all the butterflies started fluttering inside my stomach unfortunately

“Let go.” I mumbled while trying to let go my wrist from his grasp.

“No. Answer me first. It’s very un-Min Hee to ignore one person without any reasons”

“Fine. You want an answer? I’ll give it to you.” I faced him. I took a deep breath and started ranting. “I’m not pretty, y, smart, well I am smart but not as smart as hers, I’m a weakling heck I can’t even face a single spider on the bathroom, I’m awkward, I can’t sing, I-“

“you’re jealous?” he looked at me with amuse eyes

“Shut up Huang Zi Tao, I’m not done yet!!” I pointed a finger at him. “You spent half of you life with her, while here I am with just freaking 3 months with you, she’s confident, like when the unicorns decided to gave away confidence to the people she was there having 10 pails while there I was, sleeping , sh-“

“I love you.”

“I sai- what?” I calmed down and blinked at him.

“I said ‘I love you’.” He smiled at me

“Look Huang Zi Tao, I’m sure that it is already obvious that I have feelings for you unfortunately but dude you didn’t have to tell a lie just to make me fe-“

I was sentence was cut by Tao again, but this time it wasn’t a word from him, but a kiss from him.

I can’t believe it; I can feel his soft lips on my lips, tonight. My very first kiss!! Since I was shocked I just stood there eyes wide open, my butterflies on my tummy turned into eagles, my heart pounding like crazy, and all of my thoughts were gone.

He pulled back while smiling shyly. His ears were red.

“So uhmm, yea.  I love you.” He looked at me. “And trust me, I’m not lying.  About Meiling, yes you’re right she’s perfect, a girlfriend material.” He nodded while taking my personal space, one wrong push and I’ll bump to his muscular chest.

I didn’t dare to look up because I can feel that he’s looking at me and if I looked directly to his eyes I would literally melt unfortunately

He put his index finger below my chin and put my head up so that I can look directly to his

Don’t melt. Must. Not. Melt!

“But guess what? Perfect is boring, I really love seeing you having these flaws and they actually pretty amusing and cute.” He pinched my nose lightly; he pulled me into a tight hug. “I love how natural you look whenever you’re sleeping, the way your mouth opens a little whenever you sleep, how messy you look, how loud your snore is. I love them, and don’t make me get where you always scratch your underarms sometimes in your sleep.” He chuckled

I pushed him.

“I don’t snore!!” I complained

“Oh yes you do.” He smirked

“Okay maybe I do, but I’m su-“

I was cut by his lips again.

I looked at him really angry. Hey I love him but it doesn’t mean that he can just kiss me whenever he wants, and the fact that we were still in the middle of argument

“Stop ki-“

“wi-“

“Tao sto-“

“YAH!” I pushed him. 

He laughed at me.

“What’s so funny?” I raised a brow. Gosh I bet this guy is playing with me right now.

He cleared his throat and looked directly onto my eyes.

“I’m not this kind of guy who would give you chocolates and flowers everyday, also not the type of guy who would court a girl. But, Kwon Min Hee. I, Huang Zi Tao promise you to do those stupid things with all my heart just to be yours.”

“You don’t have to do those things to get me.” I said with a poker face, I can clearly see on Tao’s face that he was already freaking out

“I-If this is about the kiss thing, I-“

I cut him off by kissing him on his lips. I moved closer to his ears and whispered.

“Silly Panda. You don’t have to do those things because you’re already mine, and I’m already yours.” I smiled and left him inside my room.

I can hear him calling me, but I just ignore him because I can tell that I’m already blushing like hell, and because I’m really embarrassed on what I just did to him. Gosh, when did I become so bold?!
