“It’s been a year.” You said to yourself, talking yourself into the fact there was no reason why you should feel nervous, even though you had seen his name on the list. He had probably forgotten all about you and had grown over you like the grass had grown over the spot where you had used to park your car. You had only been a teenager, running into everything with your heart on the line instead of overthinking things, without using your head.
