-Hyun Ae's POV-


I skipped happily to the backyard park of the school.. I peeked on the wall before completely stepping on the park... There, I saw Monkey.. A small smile appeared on my face..


I looked at my wristwatch. 4:34 PM... I fell asleep on the rooftop earlier so yeah..

I bit my lip, feeling guilty for making him wait for me for an hour and a half. I took a deep breath before walking to him.


"Heeey!" I happily greeted, trying to not feel awkward this time. He looked at me with a serious face and when he saw me, he suddenly stood up and hugged me tight, surprising me.


"M-monkey..." I mumbled, eyes widened.


"Where were you?" He asked in a soft, concerned, and caring voice as he softly caressed my hair. Was he worried?


"Did I make you worried?" I asked, unconsciously hugging him back. I felt him nod his head.


"Mianhae..." I whispered in his ear. "I fell asleep on the rooftop... Sorry for making you wait and... worried." I heard him take a deep breath. He broke the hug yet he still had his hands on my shoulders. He let out a small smile.


"So that's why you didn't answer my calls nor replied to my messages." He chuckled and softly flicked my forehead. I chuckled as well.


He then put his hand on my face, putting away the strands of hair that were misplaced in my face. He was staring straight in my eyes, making me freeze in my position. He continued caressing my hair as I studied his feautures. Monkey's much more handsome close up. I don't know why but... I feel like I completely got hypnotized by his face.


"W-weirdo-yah..." He whispered... I blinked twice, trying to come back to my senses.


"Neh?" I asked. He bit his lips, making me feel nervous.. I don't know why but his action somehow sent a shiver down my spine.


"I..." he started but paused for a long time. I just waited for him to continue, still taken by his handsomeness.


He didn't speak for a while but we just stayed in that position. He started breathing heavily as if he was nervous about something. He was staring at me... staring at me with loving eyes...

Th-those eyes... Why...


"Weirdo-yah... Naneun jinjja joahae..." he said, making me freeze completely. My eyes widened in shock. My mouth was speechless in surprise. My whole body froze... I'm... I... I don't know how to react...

This isn't the first time he said this..

B-but...


It felt more real this time. It felt more sincere. It felt deeper. It felt more intimate.


"M-monkey..." no other words came out my mouth. Only that... I don't know what to say.


He's like a brother to me...


I took a step backward, making his hand fall from my face. I bit my lip, not knowing what to do.


He looked away, then I heard him sigh.. For the second time, I hurt him...


"Mianhae.." he whispered, still looking away.


"M-mon-"


"Let's just go home, Weirdo..." he said, cutting me off..


I stared at him with a guilty expression. I really feel guilty... I hurt him again.


He turned to me with a small smile yet sad eyes.


"Kaja.." he said, trying to sound cheery as he pull my arm but I did not move.


"Monkey..." I softly mumbled. He sighed.


"Just... don't think about it, Weirdo... It's nothing.." he said and smiled at me as he patted my head. His smile was obviously fake though.. I just looked at him with sorry eyes as he stared back at me with eyes that are hurt.


After a while, he looked down and sighed. He looked up at me again and let out another fake smile.


"Let's go?" He said and I just let him pull me.


I bit my lower lip. I don't like this feeling.


I looked at Monkey... His face was serious.... His expression was sad...


Is it because of me? Well, obviously...yes...


Sigh...

Mianhaeyo, Monkey... Jeongmal mianhae...


Aaaaaah...

M-monkey... Please just make me fall for you.. I don't wanna hurt you... Please..


 

-Eunhyuk's POV-


"Yah... Don't you really wanna eat dinner?" I heard Donghae's voice as the door to my room opened. I raised my head a little and looked at him. There he is, leaning on the door.


I shook my head and looked back up at the ceiling as my head was resting on my arms...

I heard him close the door, making me think he left already but then, I heard his voice as I felt something heavy on my bed.


"Is something bothering you?" he asked. I looked at him and I saw him sitting on the edge of my bed. I just took a deep breath and looked back up at the ceiling again.


"C'mon Hyuk. You can tell me... I'm your best friend." He said... Should I tell him? Tell him that I have feelings for his sister?... Arrghh... Now, what would he just think if he finds out?
