Kim JongHyun never understood why the girl living below his floor always left in the middle of the night. Not that he was a stalker, but he was curious since her door always made a loud thumping noise every time it opened or closed. Being the insomniac freak he is and has always been, JongHyun always would hear the loud thumping and know that she left her house and by the time he heard the distinctive thumping noise again, she was back.
He never understood why he took a strange interest in it, but it wasn’t before long that he knew that at precisely 2:30 a.m, the girl would leave and at around 4:35, she would be back. It was like how high school students always took an interest in when bells rang, although, in this case, the bell affected the students--the girl didn’t have a direct effect on JongHyun.
On most sleepless nights, he would simply smile and think, “ Ah, she’s home safely.” or “Hm, I wonder if she just got hungry in the middle of the night.” It was a strange, stalkerish interest of his; that’s all.

I've had writing fanfics on my mind all summer, but somehow I just can't set my mind on one idea. I've had several drabbles of one-shots of several ideas I've contemplated on writing this summer, but nothing seemed to finish before I gave up on it. As for my unfinished fanfictions, I forever can't seem to get into the right mood again. I never, ever want to give up on Hidden Deception, but at the same time, I don't want to ruin the effort I put into it thusfar with crappy writing...
But with the eternal writers' block of mine, nothing seemed to really flow well. This short fanfic/one-shot is the only decent thing I wrote all summer, yet it still sounds stiff and really awkward. Although I must say, this is the only work I've finished this summer too; it was my inner JongSica shippah calling out to me that I spent 4 hours writing the fanfic, then 2-3 hours editing a lame poster.
Anyways, enough of my story.
I present to you JongSica, my second one written thusfar in my fanfic writing career
