“Yeoboseyo?” I answered my phone.

“EunJi-yah? How do I get back again?” I heard his soft voice ask me.

“You forgot?” I asked.

“Mian,” he said quietly.

“Good luck,” I sighed. “You have to find your own way this time,”

“Wae?” he asked.

“I told you ten times already, yet you still keep forgetting,”

“This will be the last time, I promise,” he said. “Tell me the way,”

“Arasseo,” I sighed and told him the way back. “And can you get me a cappuccino on your way back? When you pass the coffee shop?”

“Wait, before you hang up, tell him to get me an Americano, too,” SungYeol called.

“No,” I said, sticking my tongue out at him.

“Meanie,” he did the same to me. I smiled innocently. “He forgot again?” I nodded.

“As always,” DaeHyun sighed.

“He never changed since high school,” NaEun said.

“That’s what makes him so innocent,” I said.

“Ey… Not really innocent. He just gives off that feeling that you want to protect him,” BaekHyun said.

“Well…” I trailed off.

“I can hear you guys, you know!” he yelled.

“Mianhae,” we chorused.

“See you. And don’t forget my coffee,” I said quickly into my phone.

“And mine,” SungYeol added.

“Shut up,” I said. He smiled at me.  Around twenty minutes later, I heard the doorbell ring.

“Who wants to get it?” NaEun asked.

“Not me,” TaeMin mumbled.

“Then you answer it,”

“NaEun!”

“Go, oppa~,” NaEun said, using a cute voice.

“Fine,” TaeMin stood up and went to open the door. “EunJi!”

“What?” I ran over to them. I almost let out a laugh when I saw ChanHee soaking wet. “What happened to you?”

“Rain,” he said shortly. “Get your coffee,”

“Gomawo~” I sang, taking the coffee from his hands. “And you should change before you catch a cold,”

“I already have a cold,” he said, sneezing. “The rain just made it worse,”

“Aigoo,” I sighed. “Yeol!”

“Ne?” he went to me. “Coffee!”

“Take it. Put mine on the table,” I said, handing him the cups. He nodded and took them from me happily. “Kaja, ChanHee,” I sighed. “Let’s get your clothes changed before your cold gets worse,”

“It already did,”

“Just change your clothes. Ppalli,”

“Ne, eomma,” he mumbled while going up the stairs.

“I heard that!” I yelled.

“I don’t care,” he yelled back.

2014, April

“You passed your driving test?” I asked DaeHyun, surprised. He nodded.

“Surprising, right?” TaeMin said.

“Yeah,” I nodded.

“And I thought he drove like ChoRong eonni,” NaEun said.

“No, I don’t!”

“How many times did you make us scream like crazy in the backseat?” SungYeol said.

“I don’t even bother to count anymore,” DaeHyun sighed.

“See?” I smirked. He sighed.

“Why are you so quiet, ChanHee?” BaekHyun asked.

“W-what?” ChanHee looked up.

“Were you always this quiet?” I asked him, curious.

“Uh… Yeah,” he nodded slowly.

“Since you were a kid?” TaeMin asked.

“Sort of,” he replied quietly.

“Lee SungYeol! You should be like him!” NaEun said, hitting SungYeol on the back of his head.

“You don’t have to hit me you know,” SungYeol whined.

“I know,” she smiled.

“Then why did you… Never mind,” he sighed.

“Yeol and Baek should be more like you, ChanHee,” DaeHyun said.

“What do you mean?” ChanHee asked, apparently confused.

“They should be… Quieter… And less annoying,” I said.

“We’re not annoying!” SungYeol and BaekHyun protested.

“Yeah, right. Tell that to yourselves,” I rolled my eyes.
