"EunJi-yah!" DaeHyun called.

"What?" I ran over to him.

"Where are the others? SungYeol and ChanHee, specifically?"

"I don't know. I think they went out shopping for Christmas gifts,"

"Ohh... And NaEun and TaeMin and BaekHyun?"

"Playing at Lotte World,"

"Aish.... So childish,"

"Why? You're childish too, you know!"

"Yeah... I suppose,"

I smiled at him.

"EunJi-yah~" he said.

"What?"

"Can we go eat cheesecake?"

"Go on your own. I want to sleep,"

"Eyy~ Come with me~"

"No. I'm too lazy,"

"Please~"

"No matter how much you act cute, Jung DaeHyun, my answer is still no,"

"Aww..."

I shook my head, sighing.

This boy was too obsessed with cheesecake.

Good for me, I'm normal...

Except for the fact that I'm violent....

"Come with me, EunJi!!" he tried again.

"No,"

My answer will still be no, no matter how many times he asks me.

I felt him wrap his arms around my waist from behind.

"Please?" he whispered in my ear.

"No,"

"Please?"

He turned me around, so that I was looking at him.

"No," I shook my head.

He sighed.

"You're so stubborn,"

"Where are you going?" NaEun called.

"Outside," I replied. 

"Why?"

"Because I want to,"

I put on my shoes and went outside, sitting on a bench.

I looked at my watch.

It's New Year's Eve, 11:58P.M.

Two minutes left before the New Year.

"EunJi," a soft voice said.

I looked around, seeing DaeHyun walking towards me.

"What?" I asked. He shrugged and knelt down in front of me.

"It's almost the New Year," he said. 

I nodded.

He looked at his watch.

"A minute left,"

I looked away.

"Do you mind if I do something?"

"No,"

"Aren't you going to ask me what I'm going to do?"

"No,"

"Will you hit me?"

"Depends,"

He let out a deep breath and looked at his watch again.

He started counting down...

"Five...."

I looked at him.

"Three...."

He knelt down in front of me.

"One...."

The moment he said that, he pressed his lips to mine, kissing me gently.

My eyes widened.

I couldn't say I didn't like it.

I liked it. I didn't push him away.

"Happy New Year, EunJi," he said quietly when he pulled back.
