Description

When the usual security guard gets promoted, Se Rim ends up asking the new guy to walk her to her car when it gets too dark. On the way, Jongin teaches her a thing or two about overcoming fear and finding the light in the darkness.

Author's Commentary: Started out as a piece of spontaneous writing because I couldn't resist the idea of Kai as a university security guard. Ended being a pretty lenghty one-shot about the nature of fear, especially the fear of darkness. I was afraid of the dark as a kid, too, but I have a friend who still suffers from it, very severely. Lots of people think it's childish and silly, but it is actually a very real, and very serious phobia that people shouldn't undermine. Anyways, I hope you guys like this! Let me know what you think!

Chapter 1: Well, this was pretty good. I had a hard time getting into it, but you wrote Kai's character really well. ty joke from his side, but that's what makes a part of the story. Well done!
