A huge beam made its way towards Min Yoongi’s face. He walked along the pavement in the middle of the night as the manager’s words kept ringing in his mind. “We’re giving you a day off since the promotion went well,” was the manager's exact statement as that news alone had sent happy vibes throughout the whole group and Yoongi was not an exception.

                He thought about Jungkook. Is he doing okay with Minhee? Again, a smile resurfaced as the topic about Jungkook confessing to his long-term crush had lead him into thinking about his own lover who was probably sleeping soundly in their apartment by now.

                It had been months since the last time he stepped into this place he called home. Yoongi took a long whiff of the familiar lavender scent and nodded approvingly as if he was confirming that he was in the right apartment. “Is she sleeping?” Yoongi mumbled alone while he grabbed on the strap of his backpack and slinked towards the bedroom.

                Yoongi popped his head into the bedroom and saw that his girlfriend was buried deep beneath the quilt, surrounding herself with as much warmth as she could get. The night was terribly cold for her, well; the nights without Yoongi had always been cold to her. She was breathing softly with her hands tucked beneath the pillow while her ears were still plugged with earphones.

                The boyfriend chuckled at the sight and put down his backpack. Noiselessly, he managed to slip under the quilt beside the sleeping lover and scooped her body from behind, resting his chin on the crown of her head and letting her head rest against the crook of his neck. Out of curiosity, Yoongi took out the left earphone for her ear and tried listening to the song she was hearing.

                His lips curved upwards as he could hear his own song called, ‘Tomorrow,’ was putting his girlfriend to sleep. “Cho Haneul, I love you,” he said in her left ear. Haneul started moving as her hands roam around searching for the left earphone while her eyes were still shut. Quietly, Yoongi put the earphones back into her ears as she let out a soft sigh of relief in her sleep.

                Yoongi loosened his grip around her waist when he could feel that Haneul was moving. , I woke her up didn’t I? A feeling of guilt roamed around him but when he saw that Haneul was only tossing to another side and was now facing him with her eyes still close, Yoongi smiled. He wrapped his hand around her waist once again and she snuggled in her arms, “Yoongi,” she mumbled in her sleep.

                It was only another one of her sleep- talking habit. Yoongi closed his eyes and let the strawberry scent of Haneul’s hair drive him to sleep.

                Cho Haneul woke up with a jerk as she could sense the warm morning ray on her body. By the judge of it, her mind knew that she had slept through her alarm clock. Frantically, she grabbed for her cell phone to look at the time and gasped when she saw that she was already an hour late for her work. Boss would be so mad at me! She screamed in her heart and was going to jump out of bed but something was holding onto her wrist as she shrieked in astonishment.

                “Stay,” she heard a sleepy mutter from her left and saw that it was Yoongi.

                “Min Yoongi?” she gasped, “You’re really here? I thought I was dreaming last night.”

                Ripping the quilt away from Yoongi’s face, Haneul was met with her boyfriend’s cute sleepy face. His eyes could barely open but he still gave his best smile while saying in his raspy morning voice, “You’ve dreamt about me before this?”

                “Well… I… It was…” Haneul started stuttering and a blush appeared across her cheeks.

                Yoongi grinned and pulled the girlfriend back into his arms. “I dreamt about you too.”

                Haneul felt happy all of a sudden and snuggled closer to Yoongi, missing the warmth of his body and his voice. “But I’m late to work,” she whined and was going to sit up but Yoongi pulled her back down.

                “Stay,” he stubbornly stated.

                “I can’t,” she replied.

                “Just one day, Haneul,” Yoongi said, “Let me hug you,” his grip around her waist became firmer, melting Haneul’s heart as she whispered a simple, ‘Okay' after a quick mental debate she had in her mind.
