Description

Getting fresh air at 6 AM in the bloody morning while standing at 60 feet above ground doesn't sound like a good idea. Especially when the scariest student in school happens to misunderstand that you were about to kill yourself, and is now clearly convinced that you just got out of the mental hospital.

Foreword

He was just standing there with his hands inside his pockets, the cold breeze brushing his blonde hair upwards while he stares at the view. He looked so quiet, peaceful even. But Kim Jihae knew better than to believe that. He’s about to do something—

—He’s about to commit suicide.

“What are you doing?! Don’t you know better than to jump off the rooftop?!”

He stops staring to momentarily turn around, irritated by the sudden interruption of the silence.

“Excuse me?” Sehun scoffed. His feet were already at the edge of the building, six stories high above the ground. Any wrong step and he could be squished in seconds.

“Just get down, will you?! There’s definitely more than jumping and ending your life!”

Honestly, he wasn’t going to jump. He hadn’t even thought of it in the first place. Clearly this woman doesn’t know how to mind other people’s privacy. But it was partially his fault, after all. He did look suicidal, and he usually locks the rooftop entrance to avoid misunderstandings.

How he didn’t manage to hear the creaking of the metal door, he doesn’t know at all.

But Sehun simply looks at her with an empty face, letting the girl drone on and on about suicide. He rolls his eyes and turns around once more, only to find the sunrise view being replaced with cold, hard cement.

Oh, and a woman’s face.

“Are you crazy?! I told you killing yourself isn’t the answer!”

“You sure have quite the yanking skills for a girl, I’ll give you that,” Sehun points out with the same, bored look as earlier. “But clearly, I wasn’t killing myself. It’s called admiring. Know the difference. Also, you’re on top of me. Please get off.”

“What?” Shades of pink take over her pale face. “You were…oh…”

But before Sehun could even push her away from him, footsteps are heard from outside, and the metal door creaks open in a few seconds.

It was Kai, one of the school’s most popular students.

“We were just playing twister,” Sehun doesn’t know why he said that; maybe because he didn’t want the guy to misunderstand.

But Kai simply looks at him with a wry grin, letting out a whistle while he steps backwards.

“Sure you were.”
