She waits there for him. She sits there, on the bench, still waiting for his return. No matter what others tell her, she doesn’t believe the things they do. They told her that he was already dead and there was no point of still hanging on to his absence.

But somewhere in her heart, Ji Young knows that Myung Soo is still alive. He wouldn’t leave her behind without saying goodbye. So, she feels betrayed. He lied to her that he was going to come back.

After 3 years of long agonizing wait, he finally returns to the place where they first met – the park; on the same bench that Ji Young was sitting on.

Why have you come back?

She stares at him with much betrayal emblazoned in her eyes.

I’m sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you. I’ve missed you so much.

He looks back at her regretfully; his eyes begging for her forgiveness.
