Description

Kibum was raised in the forest with his family as a proud, confident fox.

Jonghyun was raised in a farm with his owners as an obedient, energetic hound.

However, a hunt that Jonghyun is sent on sends him barreling into Kibum's quiet life, and nothing is quite the same from that moment on...

So I got hit by a truckload of JongKey feels while trying to type my KrisHo story---

So sue me.

This was greatly inspired by the beautiful friendship that blossomed in the fox and the hound by Disney.

Chapter 1: Oh! I was looking forward to this so much and somehow I missed the update for it! I really, really enjoyed this. Little Kibum was sooo cute! Little Jonghyun was adorable as well. I liked that you put in both of their perspectives too. That I could read and see what each one was thinking. I enjoyed the part where Kibum and his mother found shelter in a barn and the pony brought over towel for Kibum to dry himself on. I like that the animals help each other out, etc, etc. They are kinda living like humans. Oh. When Jonghyun goes to wake them up in the barn, I was soo worried that something was going to happen to Kibum's mother and it did! When Jonghyun's father burst into the barn I was almost up on my feet. I feel bad that Jonghyun had to witness the killing of Kibum's mother. Also, that Kibum heard it! I guess Kibum is without both parents now huh? At least Jonghyun had his mother to comfort him. Awwww Jonghyun bringing Kibum food. ""You should leave, before my father realizes that you're here too," He tells the fox seriously. "Your mother entrusted your safety to me, and I'm going to ascertain that I live up to the task that she left me."" Awwwww I am melting! Jonghyun is so cute in his determination to protect and keep Kibum safe. So Onew is an owl! I'm glad that Kibum found someone else to hang with after being made alone. Kibum and Jonghyun's banter is so funny. Oh. I really, really, really enjoyed this. It was written so well and it was sooooo cute! <3
