Worth a Thousand Words

Worth a Thousand Words

The thin layer of dust that was coating the black leather of the photo album clouded up into the air as Myungsoo blew on it, brushing it off and opening the cover. It had been a while since he had gone through this particular set of photos, and he decided, since he was home alone, now was a good time.

On the first page, he was met right away by one of his favourite photos of his lover that he'd taken to date.
Last autumn, they'd gone for a walk around late afternoon, and Myungsoo had just happened to snap this photo at the right moment. Dongwoo had gathered up a pile of colourful leaves in his arms and thrown them up in the air, and laughed happily as they fell back down to the ground. In this snapshot, bright leaves were coming down like rain around the older boy, but his smile still outshone every last one as his head was thrown back in the same laughter that Myungsoo could hear resonating through his mind right now. The lighting had been perfect, with the sunlight filtering through the trees and illuminating Dongwoo's signature smile and playful eyes. On the page, the photo was placed in the centre, and Myungsoo had titled it "Falling For You." Dongwoo had laughed good-naturedly at the cheesiness of the caption, but Myungsoo had declared that the play on words was clever, and both boys finally agreed that it was perfect.
The space around the photo was filled with comments in both Dongwoo's excited scrawl and Myungsoo's neater handwriting, ranging from written laughter and I love you's, to an arrow pointing a leaf that was a particularly bright red, which Dongwoo had appropriately - well...he reasoned anyway - named "Tomato".

A smile graced Myungsoo's lips as he remembered laughing as Dongwoo wrote that, and he fondly turned the page.
Neatly scattered over this page were photos taken the time that they agreed to pet-sit for a friend of theirs, and that day had become quite an adventure.
There was a photo of just the puppy itself, a small black and white border collie, looking up at the camera from the floor, one of Dongwoo desperately attempting to get the puppy to "shake paws", and another of a book the small menace had chewed up within the first few minutes of it being there. Adjacent to that photo, there was a snapshot of Dongwoo finally getting the puppy to keep still by holding it on his lap and scratching it behind the ears, something both of them wish they'd tried earlier. The final picture on the page was a tired dog and even more exhausted Dongwoo laying passed out side by side on the carpet in the living room, completely wiped after a day of non-stop running around. Dongwoo had grinned once he saw the photo, and he had immediately taken a permanent marker and given himself dog ears and a tail, and a speech bubble with "woof~" written in it.
Myungsoo had grinned as he added a "good boy" in, followed by a "roll over". Myungsoo laughed when, as the two of them were captioning the album, Dongwoo rolled over next to him and grinned. Myungsoo had burst out laughing and rubbed his stomach playfully, but he definitely hadn't been ready when his lover sat up and his cheek. The taller boy had glared at him, but grinned and playfully flicked his nose. Dongwoo had pouted before leaning forward and darting his tongue out again, this time Myungsoo's lips playfully. However, that time, Myungsoo had pulled Dongwoo closer and kissed him, putting his own tongue to good use. Within a few seconds, captioning the photo album had been forgotten, as had been the necessity of clothing, and they carried on, writing messages with lips and tongue on each other's skin instead, knowing they'd return to the photos later.

Myungsoo chuckled to himself at the memory and turned the page, flipping to the most brightly coloured page in the book. Naturally, as there were so many opportunities for it, Myungsoo had a page solely dedicated to Dongwoo's hair. The page was littered with photographs of the varying lengths, ranging from the near buzz cut he had during Infinite's debut, to the long hair he'd had not too long ago that covered the tip of his nose when he let it fall down into his face. There were multiple shades of black, brown, and blonde, as well as blues, pinks, reds, and an off grey he'd had briefly between colours. Myungsoo had said once that Dongwoo's hair was as colourful as his personality, and Dongwoo had grinned and replied with a "maybe one day, I'll complete the rainbow."
Myungsoo had grinned and said he'd need to get a bigger photo book.

He turned the page again and was hit at first glance by memories of last summer. Myungsoo had literally woken up one morning to find a suitcase packed and breakfast waiting for him because Dongwoo had decided that "we're going on a road trip."
In the centre of the page was another one of Myungsoo's favourite photos of his lover. Dongwoo had the top rolled down on his car, and the sun was shining down on him, lighting up his smile the way his smile lit up Myungsoo's day. He had one hand lax on the steering wheel, and the other was holding onto Myungsoo's free one as they drove down the back roads to get to no where in particular. When they had gotten hungry, they pulled over at whatever restaurant they could find - Myungsoo had taken photos of each one - and when they were tired, they'd stop at the nearest motel and check in for the night. Dongwoo didn't have a set destination in mind, and Myungsoo had found that he enjoyed it that way. There had been no rush to get anywhere, or see anything; they just did whatever they felt like doing. One day, they spent the entire day at the beach just walking along the shore and playing in the water, and Myungsoo smiled at he found himself looking at the photo of Dongwoo laying on the sand, his legs buried and shaped into a mermaid tail. On the picture, Dongwoo had drawn himself a seashell top and long, flowing hair, and Myungsoo had laughed and captioned it "Ariel" in English. They'd spent the following five minutes trying to pronounce the name and, admittedly, failing miserably.
The next photo on the page was of Dongwoo hanging upside-down from a tree that he had climbed when they pulled the car over at a small park when they decided to stretch after having had driven all day. They'd stopped at a small café and bought food and drinks to go, which they enjoyed as they ventured down a path through the small woods adjacent to the park. Myungsoo also thoroughly enjoyed kissing the whipped cream from the hot chocolate off of Dongwoo's lips, but that he'd kept to himself. One moment, the two boys had been walking happily side by side, and the next second, Myungsoo had looked next to him only to see that the older boy had disappeared. Turning around in confusion, he scanned the area for his lover and let out a small, warm laugh as he spotted Dongwoo making his way up a tree.
"We can stay here for the night~" He'd suggested with a laugh, swinging himself onto a branch and hooking his legs over it as he hung upside-down from it, and the taller boy grabbed his camera. Dongwoo had one hand was waving at the him, and the other one was securing his shirt in place as Myungsoo captured the moment.
The photo underneath that one was Dongwoo filling up the gas in the car, grinning at Myungsoo through the window. They had been running on empty when they pulled up at the gas station, and it was a miracle that they had found this one. Myungsoo had been convinced that they were going to run out of gas and be stranded, but Dongwoo insisted that they would find somewhere to fill up soon. Myungsoo was forced to take back his "I swear hyung, if you get us stranded out here, you're on the couch for a week" when they pulled into the gas station and Dongwoo grinned, not bothering to say "I told you so". It was written all over his face anyway. Myungsoo's apology for his threats was also nonverbal as they made out in Dongwoo's back seat later that day.
The final photo on the page was a photo of both Dongwoo and Myungsoo that Myungsoo had asked a passerby to take for them. They were standing under a road sign that advertised a small town that neither of them had heard of until that day, and marked their final stopping point before turning around to head home. Myungsoo was standing behind Dongwoo, his arms around his waist, and he was resting his chin on his shoulder. The smile and slight blush on Myungsoo's face was credited to Dongwoo having pressed a quick kiss to his cheek right before the photo was taken, and satisfaction was written all over his face as he grinned at the camera.
They had thanked the stranger for the photo and got back in the car, ready to head home. The trip had taken five days in total, and on the two days it had taken them to get back home, Dongwoo had cranked the radio up and the two boys sang along until their throats were sore and they had to stop for the night, then continued on the next day.

Myungsoo smiled contentedly at the memory and turned the page over, grinning once again as he was hit by the memories imprinted on the page
The writing decorating the page was red and green in festive spirits as photographs of last Christmas were organized all over it.
Warmth flooded through Myungsoo in the form of affection as he looked down on the photo in the centre of the page. Dongwoo was sitting, pyjama clad, cross-legged, in front of a tall, thoroughly decorated Christmas tree, and the excited smile on his face rivalled that of every toddler and child that morning. It was no secret that Dongwoo loved Christmas, and the exuberant grin on his face more than displayed that. He'd even gotten up early for the occasion.
There were photos on the page of the couple with Myungsoo's family, where they had spent Christmas Eve, and with Dongwoo's family, where they had spent Christmas Day.
There was a photo of Dongwoo wearing a ridiculously sparkly Santa hat that he insisted was necessary for cooking Christmas dinner, and Myungsoo had just laughed and snapped a picture, saying that this moment needed to be captured. Myungsoo had been glad to get the photo when he did, because only a few moments later, one of Dongwoo's sisters had walked in and snatched the hat off his head, telling him to wear his own. Dongwoo had frowned and said that he lost his, and his sister had offered it back, but Dongwoo had sighed and dramatically declared that the magic was lost and there was no point to him wearing the hat anymore.
The photo itself was of Dongwoo in the hat, grinning as he stood in the kitchen with his mother. Myungsoo had captioned in "Ho ho ho!" in alternating green and red letters, and Dongwoo had given his mother - who stood even shorter than he did - elf ears and little pointed shoes. Dongwoo had giggled the entire time drawing it, and though he was the older one in the relationship, sometimes Myungsoo could swear that his boyfriend was a child sometimes - in the cutest way possible, of course.
The next photo on the page was Dongwoo back by the Christmas tree, though this time, it was a self portrait of both himself and Myungsoo. The couple were holding their left hands up, as Myungsoo took the photo, proudly displaying their band new couple rings that Dongwoo had bought as a Christmas gift. Plain but elegant, the rings were perfect, as Myungsoo had been sure to tell Dongwoo when he slipped it onto his finger. They had exchanged gifts after that, Myungsoo having got Dongwoo a new bag, as his old one was breaking, and a sweater that the older boy had been eyeing for about a month leading up to the holidays, and Dongwoo had got Myungsoo a new lens for his camera which he had used to take the next photo on the page.
This photo brought forth a small bubble of laughter from Myungsoo's lips as he looked down at it.
Dongwoo had found a set of Christmas lights that they had somehow missed setting up prior to Christmas Day, and he had taken it upon himself to set them up before the rest of Infinite returned to the dorm to spend the afternoon with each other. Myungsoo was going set them up with him, but he had turned away for all of a minute only to return to his lover and find him tangled up in the string of lights. The taller boy was going to help him - really, he was - but he couldn't miss the golden opportunity for a photo. Myungsoo plugged the lights in, illuminating Dongwoo as he posed with a pout, though laughter still shone through his eyes as Myungsoo grinned and took the picture.
As revenge, Dongwoo had bitten Myungsoo's hand playfully as he untangled him, and Myungsoo had threatened to leave him tied up unless he behaved. Dongwoo had nodded and remained still until he was free from the lights, and he had then proceeded to nip Myungsoo's lip as he kissed him for a thank you. Instead of scolding him again, Myungsoo merely deepened the kiss and it carried on from there until the two of them were forced to take it to the bedroom, where even then, Dongwoo bit Myungsoo's skin playfully as they made love on top of their sheets.
Feeling more than nostalgic, Myungsoo glanced over the rest of the photos on the page that consisted mainly of the festive decorations around the house, and one of Dongwoo buried under a mountain of blankets as he attempted to keep warm during one particularly cold day with only his head poking out.

The smile didn't fade from Myungsoo's lips as he turned the page.

This page Myungsoo had titled "365", and it consisted of four photos, one in each corner, of each of the four seasons.
The photo in the top left was designated to winter, and it left Myungsoo with a near insatiable desire to kiss Dongwoo's forehead out of the shorter boy being utterly adorable. The older boy was bundled up to brace the cold, donning a winter hat, a thick coat, and a wool scarf that covered half of his face, but couldn't conceal the grin that showed through pushing his eyes up into crescent moons. Snow was falling down around him, but his all encompassing happiness warmed the scene up as Dongwoo posed proudly next to a snowman that stood taller than he did, that the couple had made. It had taken both their efforts to lift the head on top of the structure, and Myungsoo had laughed at his boyfriend's unadulterated glee as he enthusiastically constructed the face, completing the stereotypical carrot nose and coal eyes. Before the duo headed inside, Dongwoo had kissed the snowman's cheek, and then complained that his lips were cold. Myungsoo had taken the liberty of warming them up once they were past the doorway.
Smiling softly at Dongwoo's enthusiasm, Myungsoo moved his focus to the next photo on the page. In this picture, Dongwoo was standing outside under a newly budding tree with mud smeared across his face. They had been going for a walk when Myungsoo had tripped over an apparent nothing, and Dongwoo had just about lost it laughing. From the ground, Myungsoo had glared up at his boyfriend and ran his hand through the mud behind him. When Dongwoo had gathered himself enough to help Myungsoo up, Myungsoo had shot his hand forward and smeared the mud across his lover's face. Dongwoo had blinked in shock before laughing again and simply leaving the mud there to dry. Myungsoo had insisted on taking a photo, and Dongwoo grinned and let him. After having been two years into a relationship with Myungsoo at that point, he was more than used to being the object of photographs, and never offered up much objection.
Moving onto the next photo now, Dongwoo was laying on the end of a wooden dock with his feet in the water and a cold drink in his hand as he and Myungsoo attempted to beat the heat by escaping one weekend to a small cottage on a privately owned lake. Wearing only a bathing suit, sunglasses, and what wasn't visible but Myungsoo knew to be a thick layer of sunscreen, he lay at ease as the sun kissed his skin, though did not stain it. Myungsoo had always had an appreciation for his boyfriend's body, toned and well built, though not muscled to any extreme, and the combination of his exposed smooth, milky skin and the completely relaxed expression on his face made the moment a perfect candidate for a photo.
As soon as Dongwoo had heard the shutter from the camera go off, he sat upright and looked over at his lover and grinned, and Myungsoo simply had to return the smile. Myungsoo had walked over to his boyfriend and sat down next to him, allowing his feet to slip into the water alongside Dongwoo's, and Dongwoo giggled as he playfully splashed at Myungsoo. Myungsoo welcomed the cool water on his skin, and splashed at Dongwoo in turn, which had somehow led to the two of them kissing contentedly at the end of the dock until they had decided it was much too hot to continue, and they opted to swim instead. They had spent the remainder of the afternoon in the water, simply enjoying each other's company.
After making a mental note to ask Dongwoo if he'd like to go back to the cottage next summer, Myungsoo proceeded to look on at the next photo, which immediately brought a smile to his face.
Prior to this photo being taken, Sunggyu had been complaining for weeks about all the leaves in the backyard of their dorm, and finally, Dongwoo had had enough and had taken it upon himself to go and rake them up. Half an hour after he had set out to go clean them up, Myungsoo had gone out to join him, though was met by instant confusion instead. The entire yard had been raked, though Dongwoo was no where to be found, and he wasn't typically the kind to go out unannounced. Myungsoo walked around, scanning the yard for any sign of his lover, and couldn't help but laugh when he found the shorter male laying down in the centre of a huge leaf pile, eyes closed, headphones in, world around him tuned out. Myungsoo snuck back into the house and grabbed his camera before making his way quickly back outside to take a photo, not surprised at all to see that Dongwoo hadn't moved an inch. With the encouragement of boredom egging him on, after the initial photo had been taken, Myungsoo had picked up Dongwoo's discarded rake and started to work on covering his lover in leaves, and Dongwoo hadn't taken any notice to Myungsoo's antics until he had dropped a small pile of leaves onto the upper half of his torso. He had opened his eyes and grinned up at Myungsoo, who was smiling pleasantly down at him. Myungsoo figured he should've seen the playful glint in Dongwoo's eyes, warning him of what the older boy was about to do. Dongwoo's hands had shot forward and grabbed the younger boy's legs, making quick work of pulling him down into the leaf pile with him. Dongwoo had caught him, making sure the fall didn't hurt, but he had then proceeded to pile leaves on top of him, causing Myungsoo to flail and sputter hopelessly as he tried to crawl away from Dongwoo's wrath. Once Dongwoo had let up - and that hadn't been for a good few minutes - Myungsoo shot him a playful glare, which Dongwoo traded in for a quick kiss, before the couple helped each other pick bits of leaves out of their hair.
Myungsoo couldn't help but roll his eyes good-naturedly at the memory as he knew all too well the playfulness of his lover, and with a fond smile, he turned the page.

For the title, Myungsoo had convinced Dongwoo to put lipstick on and kiss the top of the page, which Myungsoo deemed appropriate seeing as this entire page was dedicated to kisses shared between the couple.
Admittedly, over the years, Myungsoo had become more or less addicted to the taste and texture of his boyfriend's soft, full lips, and he never really could get enough of kissing him; perhaps that was why this particular page had the most photos on it.
Ranging from sweet kisses on the cheek to kisses so hot Myungsoo wondered why they didn't burn the page, the pictures here caused the singer to fall into a web of memories.
Looking across the top, Myungsoo felt a soft smile spread across his lips as they tingled, recalling the feeling of Dongwoo's own upon them. The first photo he saw was a full body shot that had been taken by one of the other members of the group in the living room of their shared dorm. Sungyeol had been trying to figure out how to work Myungsoo's camera, and so he'd had the couple stand in front of him as he played around with the settings. Between the directed photos, Dongwoo had tapped Myungsoo on the shoulder, and when Myungsoo turned to answer him, the shorter boy had gotten up on his toes and pressed a warm kiss to Myungsoo's lips. That had happened to be the second that Sungyeol figured out how to work the camera, and the photo actually turned out pretty decent. Myungsoo had elected to keep it as he couldn't help but smile as Dongwoo's sock-clad feet stretched out to cover the height difference between them. Despite the amount that Myungsoo teased Dongwoo for it, he'd always found the older boy's lack of height to be adorable.
The next photo hadn't actually been intentionally taken, but that small fact did nothing for Myungsoo as he looked at the picture, ignoring the stirring feeling inside his stomach. For this photo, the couple had been at a hotel overseas for a schedule and they were given their own room due to sleeping arrangements. There were two beds in each room, and two to a bed, though Sungyeol had elected to take a cot in the room of the four other members as he didn't quite feel like sharing a room with the rambunctious couple. Neither Dongwoo or Myungsoo had offered up a complaint at this and they'd settled into their room quickly and lay down on their bed as Myungsoo pulled out his laptop to make a video of their arrival. Dongwoo had gotten him into the habit of journalling his day, and the couple had figured a video diary would be perfect for the trip. Myungsoo had just set up the video and begun recording, but hadn't gotten much past saying where they were, when there was a knock on their door, followed by one of their managers, who had a key to all the members room for the sake of getting them up in the mornings, stepping in. The couple had turned to look at him as he informed them that they needed to be up by eight o'clock the next morning, then left.
Myungsoo had set an alarm on his phone for 7:50am, and then turned back to Dongwoo to chuckle.
"Hyoan hyung was all business, he didn't even say hi first." He had commented offhandedly, and Dongwoo grinned.
"He just came right in," the older boy had said with a warm laugh, "he's lucky we weren't...doing stuff.."
"Stuff?" Myungsoo had repeated, raising an eyebrow with amusement at his boyfriend's innocence.
"Stuff, like..kissing, or..yeah. I don't need to say it, you know what I'm talking about." Dongwoo had said, letting out an embarrassed laugh.
"Oh, stuff. You mean like this?" Myungsoo had asked, and that was all the warning Dongwoo was given before Myungsoo turned to face him more directly and advanced on him, bringing their lips together in an open-mouthed kiss that escalated much quicker than Myungsoo would admit to later. All it had taken was Dongwoo slipping his tongue past Myungsoo's lips for Myungsoo to climb on top of his boyfriend, straddling him as he reached for the edge of his sweatpants. It was then that Myungsoo's foot had stretched out and hit his laptop, and only then did he remember that it was recording them. Not wanting to stop the promise of Dongwoo's needy hands on his hips, Myungsoo had merely reached back and shut the laptop before carrying on to what was Sungyeol's reason to not want to share a room with them.
The next time Myungsoo was checking over the videos on his laptop, he rediscovered that one, and watched through it. By that point, the photo album he was currently looking through was under way, so he'd figured that he'd take a screen-cap and use it for this page. The picture Myungsoo was now looking at was of himself and Dongwoo mid-kiss, Dongwoo's fingers laced into Myungsoo's hair, their lips parted, tongues touching as their faces were angled to compliment each other. Myungsoo would be lying now if he said that this photo didn't stir something inside of him, and he quickly looked at the next photo before he had a problem, though the picture he happened to look at next didn't help his situation at all.
Myungsoo and Dongwoo had both come home early from their evening off because they'd both wanted to get a good night's sleep as their first schedule the next day started early in the morning. However, it was only after both boys had changed into their pyjamas that Sunggyu had texted them to inform them that their morning plans were cancelled. Then with a few hours to kill and nothing to do, the pair had made popcorn and grabbed a movie from the group's DVD collection and returned to their bedroom. Myungsoo had brought the snack and movie to the room and left Dongwoo there with them as he quickly excused himself to go to the bathroom. When he returned, Dongwoo was standing in front of the full length mirror, trying to work out a knot in the drawstring of his pyjama pants.
His eyebrows had been furrowed in concentration, and he hadn't noticed as Myungsoo walked over to him, leading him to jump when Myungsoo had asked "need help?"
Dongwoo had jutted out his bottom lip as he declared "I can't get it."
Myungsoo kissed his lover's pout softly before reaching down and beginning to work on the knot, pointedly ignoring where his hands were. Dongwoo, however, had seemed to be a little less able to not notice the positioning, and after a few minutes of working at the knot, he began shifting uncomfortably.
"You alright, love?" Myungsoo had questioned, though he knew full well what was wrong.
"I-I, ah..yeah." Dongwoo stuttered, though Myungsoo had caught the low tones his voice was dropping into, and he was sure what Dongwoo wanted even before he'd looked up and met his eyes. The shorter boy had his lips and given Myungsoo a questioning look, and Myungsoo had chuckled softly before kissing his boyfriend. The eagerness which Dongwoo had responded with stirred something in the pit of the younger's stomach, and the kiss had grown steadily more heated until Myungsoo felt his pyjama pants beginning to grow tight, and Dongwoo slipped a hand down the front of them. With heat clouding his mind and judgement, Myungsoo had grabbed his phone off the edge of the bed and taken a photo of the moment in the mirror in front of them before the couple moved to the bed and carried on, only returning to the previously forgotten movie once they had finished, and they watched it together, laying under the sheets as they lazily fed popcorn to each other until they both fell asleep.
The version of the photo that was now in the album had been cropped off at their waists, so nothing explicit was shown, but regardless of Myungsoo's efforts to keep this page PG, it was still obvious what was going on beyond the still frame.
Myungsoo forced his eyes to wander away from the photo, and he laughed softly to himself as he looked at the caption Dongwoo had put beneath the photo, in big red letters, an appropriate "XXX".
Smiling slightly, Myungsoo looked at the next photo on the page, which was - thankfully - innocent. This photo didn't have much of a story behind it, but Myungsoo found it cute regardless.
Dongwoo had been sitting at the kitchen table with Hoya, working on the lyrics for Tasty's new song, and Myungsoo had heard Dongwoo's ringing laughter followed by an exclaimed, "You can't put that in a song! You'll get us banned" and Myungsoo had decided to go out and check on the duo. When he had arrived in the room, Dongwoo and Hoya were goofing off and taking photos of each other pulling faces instead of working. Myungsoo had decided to sneak up and kiss Dongwoo on the cheek, and Hoya took a picture as he did so. Upon request, the dancer showed the couple the photo, and Myungsoo had it sent to him. As he'd been surprised by the kiss, Dongwoo's eyes had widened slightly on contact, and that, accompanied by the warm smile on his lips, made the photo a definite keeper.
Underneath that photo was one that never failed to bring a smile to Myungsoo's lips, as each time he saw it, he could recall the amount of overwhelming affection that had filled the moment it was taken.
The photo was simple, as was the memory behind it, but their first year anniversary had been a special night. They hadn't done anything too over the top, but simply gone for a nice dinner out and then stayed in a small hotel together so that they could fully enjoy each other without the worry of company. In the hotel, Myungsoo had set his camera up on timer mode and placed it down. Myungsoo had thought he'd set the time for five seconds, and so he'd set it up and rushed back to his boyfriend's side but was confused when the camera didn't go off. Dongwoo had laughed good-naturedly and leaned in to kiss Myungsoo's disgruntled pout, which Myungsoo had happily returned just as the camera went off. They'd pulled away in surprise, and grinned together as they went over to check on the photo. Agreeing that it was perfect, they went and lay down together, cuddling and kissing gently, bathing in their love for each other until they'd made love to each other, spelling out affection with their bodies.
It had still only been a year into their relationship at that point, but that was the night that Myungsoo had been sure that he'd met the man he'd want to spend the rest of his life with.
The rest of the page was decorated with an array of different kisses, predominantly ones where they'd taken the photos themselves, from cheek kisses, to gentle, loving kisses, to forehead kisses, and about everything in between. Smiling happily now, Myungsoo turned the page again.

This time, there were no photos on the page. The paper remained blank, save for a short message Dongwoo had written in the middle of the page that read "If you're not Kim Myungsoo, please skip the next page."
Myungsoo had grumbled at first about wasting a page in the book, but he didn't offer up any legitimate protest as he knew it was only fair. Dongwoo had taken quite a bit of convincing to let the next set of photos be taken, let alone put into an album, but upon the promise that no one else would ever see them, he'd allowed Myungsoo to capture a side of him on camera that was not meant for public eyes. With that in mind, Myungsoo had allowed Dongwoo's warning message, and now, knowing what was in store, he turned to the next page.

As he scanned over the photos quickly, Myungsoo his lips, feeling his mouth go dry. As if each photo wasn't enough to send heat trickling through his veins, Myungsoo could still vividly recall each and every memory behind the pictures.
Dongwoo was a sweet, fairly innocent person, but the look on his face in the first photo belonged in ography, and Myungsoo couldn't deny the feeling in the pit of his stomach as he stared down at the picture.
The night the photo had been taken had been following a long concert, and instead of being exhausted, the couple had been hyped up on adrenaline and looking to celebrate a successful show. As a group, with the five others, Myungsoo and Dongwoo had gone out for drinks, but afterwards the others had gone home to their families after the slightly intoxicated couple had been less that subtle about their intentions for later that night. With hands tracing thighs and lips brushing over necks on the car ride home, Myungsoo had been anticipating getting back, and one glance at his lover as they hurried through the doorway into their dorm told him that Dongwoo was just as excited as he was.
They had already began to kiss as they made their way down the hall to their bedroom, and once locked safely in their room, Myungsoo had been pushed up against the door as Dongwoo kissed him borderline aggressively as both of their hands began to wander. Having felt a wave of carnal need, Myungsoo had quickly flipped their positions and caged Dongwoo up against the wall with his arms, pausing their heated kiss just long enough to remove the shorter boy's shirt. Myungsoo had pressed wet kisses down the length of his lover's neck, loving the way Dongwoo craned his neck in order to give Myungsoo better access. The younger boy moved down Dongwoo's body, darting his tongue out to tease his boyfriend's s, drawing out a low moan from the elder. Myungsoo had continued to move lower and lower until he was on his knees in front of Dongwoo and making quick work of removing the rest of his clothing.
The taller boy had glanced up once at Dongwoo, and the raw need in his eyes was all the sign Myungsoo needed before he'd leaned in and his boyfriend off until near release, stopping only when Dongwoo's breaths were coming out in heavy pants and his low groans had become more and more erratic.
As Myungsoo pulled away, Dongwoo had let out a low whine of protest and looked down at his lover and pleaded "baby, don't stop", but Myungsoo had other plans in mind. He had quickly gotten to his feet and grabbed Dongwoo by the hand, leading him to the bed where he lay him down. The older boy had caught on right away, and as Myungsoo quickly stripped out of his clothing, Dongwoo had reached up to the bedside table and grabbed the small bottle of lube concealed in the top drawer.
The had been fast and rough, driven by a vicious need for each other, and Myungsoo now bit his lip as he snapped out of the memory and stared down at the photo.
It was waist-up of Myungsoo's lover, but that didn't make the photo any less ographic. Dongwoo was laying on the bed, his eyes lidded, his jaw slack, and his torso painted with the release of his boyfriend from the two rounds that had followed the initial one. His face had a contented, albeit exhausted, thoroughly well-ed expression on it, and he had stared directly into the camera as Myungsoo had taken the photo.
Myungsoo didn't bother to suppress the shiver that ran down his spine, and he took a deep, steadying breath and looked on at the next photo.
This picture, though blatantly more ual than the last, had much less of a lewd story behind it.
Myungsoo had been having a busy day, and he was feeling restless and stressed by the end of it. Come night time, both Myungsoo and Dongwoo had changed into their pyjamas, and Dongwoo had been settled down in bed, cuddled against Myungsoo, tired and ready to sleep, while contrastly, Myungsoo was wide awake and still feeling tense from the day.
The older boy had lain his head down on Myungsoo's chest, and Myungsoo had been distractedly playing with his hair, trying to relax enough to sleep.
After a few minutes of silence had passed, Myungsoo had thought Dongwoo had fallen asleep, and that's why he had jumped when the older boy asked "Can't sleep?"
"I just need to de-stress a bit." He'd admitted, and Dongwoo looked up at him in the dim lighting that was cast by the clock beside their bed.
"Let me help you." Was all he'd said before pressing a soft kiss to his chest and shifting down the bed. Myungsoo had been confused for a moment until Dongwoo had placed his hands on the younger boy's thighs and began massaging them, slowly spreading them apart.
"Are you sure..?" Myungsoo had asked, knowing that not only was Dongwoo tired, but he'd also only ever given head twice before and was still unsure about the whole ordeal. The older boy had just smiled warmly and nodded, bringing his hands to the hem of Myungsoo's pyjama pants and slowly working them down. Craning his neck up, Dongwoo had pressed a quick kiss just beneath Myungsoo's navel before ducking back down and his lips nervously as he slowly began.
Within a few short seconds, the stress of the day had been erased from Myungsoo's mind and replaced by slow waves of ecstasy as Dongwoo took him into his mouth and bobbed his head languidly, glancing up every few seconds to make sure that he was doing alright. Myungsoo had given him an encouraging smile and reached down to take his hand, intertwining their fingers as his breathing picked up. Lost in pleasure, and entranced by the sight of Dongwoo's thick lips stretched out around his length, Myungsoo reached for his camera. As Dongwoo glanced up, confusion had flashed across his face, and Myungsoo paused.
"Do you mind?" The younger had asked breathlessly, wanting to make sure his lover was alright with this. Dongwoo hesitated for a moment before nodding his head slightly and continuing, and Myungsoo removed the lens cap from his camera with hands trembling due to the unadultered pleasure lacing his every nerve. He'd adjusted the camera settings for the lighting, and snapped the photo just as Dongwoo glanced up again. Soon after, Dongwoo had brought Myungsoo to and pulled his pyjama pants back up before crawling back up the bed and resuming their former position. Myungsoo had kissed the top of his boyfriend's head appreciatively and thanked him, now feeling post- fatigue flooding his system, and they'd both slept well that night.
Though the picture itself made Myungsoo's thoughts race towards the proverbial gutter, he smiled at the memory and moved onto the next photo which was taken during a much less sentimental moment.
Earlier in the day that this photo was taken, all of Infinite had attended a meeting where they were forced to listen to their CEO and managers go on about different promotion plans. It hadn't even taken twenty minutes for Myungsoo to grow bored, and he'd watched Dongwoo zone out a while ago. Myungsoo had eyed his boyfriend, looking for some way to silently catch his attention, but Dongwoo was busy scribbling on a piece of paper that was probably once the meeting outline.
With the devil of boredom whispering in his ear, Myungsoo had reached over under the table to his lover sitting next to him, and slowly ran his hand up the length of his thigh.
That had caught Dongwoo's attention right away.
The older boy had looked over at Myungsoo quizzically, and all Myungsoo had replied with was a wink. He had left his hand resting on Dongwoo's upper thigh and was slowly moving it up, rubbing his thumb in small circles as he brought his hand over the curve of his boyfriend's leg, moving towards his inner thigh, a spot Myungsoo knew to be very sensitive to his lover.
Dongwoo had shifted slightly in his seat and shot Myungsoo a warning look, very clearly reading not now, but Myungsoo disregarded it and merely smirked, moving his hand further upwards.
The older boy had brought his own hand down now and held Myungsoo's still in attempt to stop him, but Myungsoo shook his lover's weak grip - as Dongwoo would never use even remote force against another living thing - off and carried on, going further. Dongwoo had tried to shift away from Myungsoo, but there wasn't anywhere he could escape to, and Myungsoo slid his hand between his lover's legs and back out again.
The younger boy had looked at Dongwoo's face, expecting to see him annoyed or angry, but instead, he was biting down on his bottom lip, looking at Myungsoo with an expression that was torn between please stop and keep going. Naturally, Myungsoo had gone with the second option and he slid his hand between his boyfriend's legs, pressing his palm against his crotch firmly before pulling away again, trailing his fingers down his thigh. Dongwoo had let out a soft, quiet whimper, and the people nearest to him had turned to give him a questioning look as Myungsoo kept an innocent poker face next to him.
"Stomach ache.." Dongwoo lied quickly, biting his lip as Myungsoo had moved his hand back between his legs and traced the growing bulge there.
Myungsoo had continued his new game for a while, only occasionally withdrawing his hand long enough to let Dongwoo catch a calming breath before returning his hand beneath the table to tease his lover.
The older boy had held his composure fairly well, considering that he was nearly incapable of being silent in bed usually, and for every small groan or sharp gasp that occasionally escaped, he'd clutched at his stomach convincingly and let the contortion of his face come across as pain rather than teasing pleasure.
Myungsoo had nearly burst out laughing when, after a quick break had been announced, Dongwoo had gotten up and all but ran off to the bathroom.
The group visual, going along with Dongwoo's story about a stomach ache, feigned concern and said "I'll go check on him" before getting out of his seat and walked to where his boyfriend had taken refuge.
Myungsoo had only opened the door and stepped inside when Dongwoo grabbed him and pulled him into the nearest stall, giving him no time to even register what was going on before he crashed his lips to the taller boy's and kissed him desperately, grinding their hips together.
Myungsoo had smirked against Dongwoo's lips and kissed him back, taking the rapper's hands into his own and pinning them above his head as he had backed him up against the stall. With one hand, Myungsoo had secured Dongwoo's hands in position, and he'd let his other hand drop down to between his lover's legs and begin to palm the hard bump there.
A ragged moan tore so violently from the back of Dongwoo's throat that Myungsoo wondered how long the older boy had been holding it in.
Myungsoo had felt Dongwoo roll his hips into his touch, seeking more, drawn to the relief that it was promising.
Dongwoo had let out a desperate whimper as Myungsoo began to work down the zipper of his pants, but the younger didn't even have time to get it all the way down when they heard the door click open.
They both froze as the voice of their manager rang out, "Dongwoo?"
Dongwoo pulled away from the kiss, though neither of the boys risked moving further yet.
"Yeah?" He'd replied, his voice sounding strained.
"Are you alright?" Their manager had asked, his tone concerned.
"Y-yeah..my stomach just feels off.." He lied, and the wavering in his voice was easily mistakable for that of someone who was sick.
"Okay, we'll get you home soon, alright? We've decided to cut the break and speed the meeting up, so...when you feel well enough to, come back, alright? And tell Myungsoo, too."
Dongwoo's face had fallen, and Myungsoo had bitten back a snicker. He had felt bad for his boyfriend, really, he had, but the broken desperation on the older boy's face really was quite funny.
"I'm here with him, hyung," Myungsoo had called, for the simplicity of things, "I thought he was going to throw up so I thought I'd stay with him."
Their manager had seemed to believe the lie, and he replied "Okay. Get him back when you can and we'll wrap things up."
Myungsoo had heard the manager leave, and admittedly then he had felt pity for his boyfriend. They had been another half hour at least, and with nothing that could be done about the evident problem between his legs, Dongwoo had been in pain for the remainder of the meeting, and Myungsoo had been decent enough not to further.
However, on the car ride home, the younger had returned his hand to Dongwoo's thighs not feeling remorse this time as he knew that they'd be in the safety of their room soon, and safe to carry on.
As soon as they were home, Dongwoo had hurried off to the bedroom, and Myungsoo had followed him a moment after.
The taller boy had meant to help his lover out right away, but the pleading, desperate look on his face had sparked something inside of Myungsoo, and he decided to have a little more fun first.
Myungsoo had claimed dominance that day right away, issuing out demands that Dongwoo couldn't decline as he had been desperate, and it was when Myungsoo had said "Touch yourself" that the younger boy had grabbed his camera and taken the photo that he was now staring at.
Dongwoo's eyes were half closed and the muscle in his jaw was tensed as he worked to keep in his moans, and Myungsoo could recall all too well the rough, intense they'd had directly following the photo being taken.
Suppressing a shudder that stemmed from a feeling other than chill, Myungsoo quickly moved onto the next photo, which was a lot more simple.
It had been a lazy Saturday morning, and the two of them had spent the vast majority giggling and cuddling, rolling around the bed as they simply enjoyed each other's company. Dongwoo had been the first one to duck under the covers, claiming that it was "too cold to stay above the surface". Myungsoo had joined him as soon as he'd felt his lover slip his hand under his shirt and tickle him. He'd let out a playful "Oh no you don't" as he wiggled his way under the sheets, and immediately a full out tickle-war had ensued, eventually leaving both men half under the sheets, breathless and in fits of bubbled laughter. Myungsoo lay collapsed, sprawled out awkwardly over his boyfriend.
Dongwoo had grinned as he reached down and pulled the taller boy's hair into his face and giggled out "You look like a sheep dog" before Myungsoo heard the click of a photo being taken. He had looked up to see his boyfriend's phone pointed down at him.
"Taking embarrassing photos is my job." He had pouted, though it was hard to even pretend to stay upset when Dongwoo was smiling so happily.
"Aw but you're so cute~" He'd chirped, and Myungsoo had to dip under the covers in order to resist his lover's infectious grin.
"You're gonna hide down there?" Dongwoo had asked.
"Yup. Safe from you." The younger boy had replied, resting his head on the other boy's thigh.
"What if I join you?"
"You're not allowed."
"I see," Dongwoo had replied thoughtfully, pausing. "...How about now?"
"No way." Myungsoo had answered firmly.
"Now?"
"Nope. This is my Dongwoo-free area."
"But my legs are already down there." The elder had pointed out.
"These are yours?" Myungsoo had asked convincingly, patting Dongwoo's thighs, "They're very nice. You still can't come down though."
Dongwoo had let out a low groan in protest, and quite suddenly Myungsoo had decided that he wanted to hear his boyfriend groan some more.
He had given no warning to his boyfriend before he had reached up and tugged his pyjama pants down and started kissing along his inner thighs, rubbing them slowly until Dongwoo was half-hard. He had waited a moment to if his lover would offer up any protest before he continued. He didn't. Myungsoo had wasted no time in taking his boyfriend into his mouth and bobbing his head, earning the low noises from him that he wanted.
He had only been at it for a few minutes when he had felt the blankets being pulled away, and he'd glanced up at his lover as he placed a soft to the tip of his arousal.
Dongwoo had his phone in his hand and he had looked down at Myungsoo, asking nonverbally - as the only sounds he had seemed capable of making were shallow breaths and low moans - for permission. Myungsoo had decided that it was only fair, as he himself had a dozen or so photos of Dongwoo in the same or similar situations on his own phone.
That was the photo that Myungsoo was looking at now; himself gazing up at the camera as he ran his tongue up the length of the shorter boy's arousal.
The rest of the page was filled with photos of Dongwoo simply going about his business , as he was apt to walk around the dorm without clothes on, regardless of who was home. He was shameless in that sense, and Myungsoo found it amusing, if he was perfectly honest, and occasionally inappropriately arousing. The others had gotten used to it over the years, and now no one was surprised if they found the shortest member of the group watching tv or getting food completely void of clothing.

Deciding that it would probably be better for him not to linger on this page for too long, Myungsoo flipped to the next one, and immediately, the heat that had begun to stir in his veins shifted to an overwhelming warmth in his chest. The pictures on this page consisted solely of images of them sleeping or cuddling, and Myungsoo could deny how utterly adorable he found the photos.
The first photo he looked at wasn't one that he'd glanced twice at when he first took it, but when he was going through his phone later the next day, Myungsoo had determined that he'd had to have it printed for this album.
It had been after a concert, and it was just after dinner and everyone had settled into the dorm to do their own thing respectively. A few of the members had been watching a movie in their living room, but Myungsoo had decided to go to take a nap with his boyfriend, as Dongwoo always put 110% of his energy into performing and was effectively wiped.
Myungsoo had been laying on top of their bed, and Dongwoo had been sleeping soundly next to him, head resting on his chest, arms draped loosely around him, donning nothing but a pair of socks, one of Myungsoo's shirts, and boxers.
The younger boy had been playing with his lover's hair absentmindedly and texting his mother, telling her all about the concert as he usually did. After all the details were filled in, his mother had asked what up to now, and he'd replied with, «nothingㅠㅠ bored.»
«Where's Dongwoo? You said it was impossible to be bored with him aroundㅋㅋ»
Instead of replying with words, Myungsoo had merely snapped a quick photo looking down on Dongwoo, still fast asleep on his chest, and sent it to his mother with the caption «zzzzzzzzzz
Myungsoo had all but forgotten about the photo after that, but the next day, while Dongwoo slept in, he had gone through the photos on his phone to make more room and he stopped on that one, smiling simply at how cute it was. The same smile rested on his lips now as he looked through the photos.
Concluding that he'd simply have to hold his lover that night again, Myungsoo looked on to the next photo.
He chuckled softly to himself as the memory the picture held came flooding back to him, and he shook his head as he recalled Dongwoo's ever strange antics.
The younger boy had been relaxing on the couch in the dorm living room when Dongwoo walked in, clutching his stomach and biting his lip. Myungsoo had sat up right away and asked the shorter boy what was wrong.
"I think I caught a bug.." He'd replied, furrowing his eyebrows.
"What kind?" Myungsoo had asked, thoroughly concerned as to his lover's well-being.
That was why he had been more than slightly confused as Dongwoo's pained expression faded into a playful grin, and he responded with "A cuddle bug!" before promptly climbing onto the couch and snuggling up to his boyfriend.
Myungsoo had let out a bewildered laugh and ruffled the shorter boy's hair as he pulled him on top of him, kissing his forehead.
They had settled into a comfortable peace after that, with Dongwoo commenting on the news stories that played across the television and Myungsoo rubbing his back contentedly, humming in accordance with each thing his boyfriend said.
Their peace had only been only disturbed by the sound of a shutter snapping, and Myungsoo had turned his head to see Sungyeol standing there with his camera aimed at the couple.
"You left this in my room." The tallest member of the group had shrugged, placing it on the small table beside the couch. Myungsoo distantly remembered having had to borrow Sungyeol's laptop to upload photos off the device when his own computer had broken down.
"Thanks~"
"You're lucky no fans have broken in here," Sungyeol had chuckled, "you two are the furthest thing from subtle."
"Better they discover us than your internet history." Myungsoo had retorted, and Sungyeol had simply pulled a face and walked away.
Soon after that, Dongwoo had fallen asleep on top of Myungsoo, and the younger boy had taken that moment to look at the photo had taken, which was the photo he was looking at now. Myungsoo had to admit it was actually pretty good. It was a full body shot of both of them, and it clearly showed how Dongwoo's face was nestled in the crook of his neck, and how his legs were stretched out so that his toes reached Myungsoo's ankles.
Next to the photo, on the page, Dongwoo had taken the liberty to caption draw a small cartoon bug and give it a name tag reading "Cuddle".
Myungsoo smiled again and moved onto the next photo, and sent a surge of fondness through him.
The younger boy had been in Japan to film for a drama, and he and Dongwoo had gotten into the habit of Skyping before they went to bed, but that night in particular, Myungsoo's schedule had been running late. It was rare for Dongwoo to stay up past midnight, so Myungsoo was pleasantly surprised when he arrived back to his hotel room at one in the morning and gotten a «you betcha^^» from his boyfriend in reply to his text asking if he was still up.
Via the video, Myungsoo could see how tired the shorter boy was, but the smile he had given him wasn't any less bright. Dongwoo had been in bed, blankets pulled all the way up to his chin as he lay on his side and asked the younger about his day. Myungsoo filled him in on the events happily before the draw of watching him lay comfortably in bed was too strong, and he excused himself to go get washed up for bed.
The younger boy had only been gone for a few minutes, but by the time he had returned in his pyjamas, Dongwoo had already passed out, though he was still on the video.
His lips were slightly parted, and Myungsoo could hear him snoring softly, signifying a deep sleep.
He had smiled to himself and ended the call, though not before saying a soft "Goodnight hyung, I love you" and taking the opportunity to screenshot the image, which the printout of was what he was looking at now. Dongwoo had apologized for falling asleep on him when they were he got home, but Myungsoo had told him that he didn't mind, and he really didn't. He had found it beyond endearing that his boyfriend had even attempted to wait up until late according to his standards.
It was also when he got home that Myungsoo took the next photo on the page. His flight had landed at midnight, and Dongwoo had offered to pick him up at the airport but the younger boy politely declined, joking that he didn't want him falling asleep at the wheel. Myungsoo had opted to call a taxi instead, and by the time he had walked through the front door of their dorm, it was almost two a.m.
He hadn't had the energy to do anything other than walk to his and Dongwoo's room, flick on the lights, abandon his suitcase, and change into pyjamas. It had been after all that that Myungsoo had finally looked at his lover, who was sleeping soundly in their bed, and the second he had looked at him, his heart melted. In the shorter boy's arms was a pillow with a note taped to it reading "Myungsoo goes here".
Despite his overwhelming fatigue, Myungsoo had smiled warmly, and he couldn't resist the urge to take a photo of the heartwarming scene. After that, the taller boy had promptly removed the pillow from Dongwoo's embrace and taken its place, happy just to be back in the older boy's arms.
The rest of the photos on the page consisted of photos they had taken of themselves cuddling, which they never had a shortage of. Myungsoo loved taking photos, Dongwoo loved being in photos, and the two of them were rarely not cuddling when they had time together.
The photos ranged from ones of goofy smiles taken from the warmth of each other's arms to sleepy, half awake photos taken when they had stayed up too late simply to spend a little extra waking time together. There was a picture of them cuddled together in the back seat of the van on their way between schedules, and one of Dongwoo kissing his boyfriend's cheek as they watched a movie. He knew there were also dozens of similar photos stashed in a shoebox somewhere, but they hadn't made the cut for this album.

Finally, Myungsoo turned to the final page in the book, and on it was a single photo; his favourite one to date.
He had spent the majority of an afternoon teaching Dongwoo how to work his camera, showing him all the different settings and adjustments, and letting him try all the different buttons. Dongwoo had been paying rapt attention, and the Myungsoo could tell he was trying hard to learn.  After a while, he thought his boyfriend had learned enough, and Dongwoo set up to take his first professional photo. He had set up the camera stand and adjusted all the settings to accommodate the lighting in their room, and he'd set the shutter speed to the preferred time. He set the timer for five seconds and, after checking to make sure the camera was pointed directly at Myungsoo and the space next to him, he had hit the capture button.
Dongwoo had rushed to his lover's side and they held their pose until the camera clicked.
Eager and excited, Dongwoo had hurried back to the camera and brought it over to Myungsoo to inspect.
The photo was a bit blurry, and a tiny bit over-exposed, and the focus was a little off-centre, but nonetheless, Myungsoo had given his boyfriend a bright smile and an entirely genuine "It's perfect!" because, in truth, it was to him. He had just been touched to see that Dongwoo had so eagerly taken an interest in Myungsoo's passion and he had cared enough to try it himself.

Those two adjectives basically summed up Dongwoo's life, now that Myungsoo thought about it. Eager and caring was the older boy in a nutshell, though it was hard to capture who he really was in words, or in pictures. He was complex but incredibly simple; sweet, caring, odd in only the best ways possible, energetic, and he possessed an all-encompassing love that was addicting, and Myungsoo considered himself lucky to be the target of the older boy's affections. As he closed the photo album and stowed it back away, he smiled to himself and found himself anticipating when Dongwoo would arrive back home from his afternoon out, but more than that also, he anticipated the rest of his life with the other boy. He looked forward to taking thousands more photos of him, forever trying to capture a fragment of how amazing he truly was with nothing but a camera lens.
