Ariana stood by her locker with the box of chocolate's she had spent the entire evening making.  Jennette whispered stood behind her, "Well are you going to do it or what?"

"I was hoping his friends would leave before I bring it over," Ariana whispered back.

Jennette looked at Ariana with a raised eyebrow, "Ain't nobody moving away from the piece of meat, honey.  Just go over and politely ask if you could speak to him privately."

Ariana nodded slightly taking a deep breath.  Her feet started moving forward toward the boy who stole her heart at the beginning of freshman year.  He never returned it, so today, she would get it back and ask him to prom.  Oh, prom…the night of dreams where kids go wild and let loose as they prepare for the future.  Ariana had pictured it so many times.  Her arm linked with Kris's.  Ariana in a long, gorgeous gown and Kris in a white, crisp suit waiting for her outside with a limo.

She stood in front of Kris's back taking another deep breath. 

"Ahem…"

He continued talking to his friends.  His friends…the name of their group was EXO.  Their fangirls were called Exotics.  Kris was their leader and each of the other members played their roles.  But they were all very rich and famous.  She was a bit intimated by all of them, but she had come this far.  This was the closest she has ever been to Kris and she really liked it.

Ariana tapped him on the shoulder and he stopped mid-sentence to look at the small, red-haired little girl.  He looked down at the choclate's in her hands.  He raised his eyebrow with a smirk, "For me?"

Ariana smiled with a nod.  Kris took the chocolate and examined it.  He looked down at the red-head, "So is there something you want to ask me?"

Ariana blushed…"I was wondering if you wanted to go to prom…with me?"

Kris chuckled softly, "Prom?  With you?  Why me?"

Ariana smiled, "Well, you helped me out a bunch of times and you are really sweet.  Like when you helped me pick up my books. You caught me from falling off the stairs once.  Oh!  One time you needed a pencil and I gave my only one to you.  And this other time, yo - "

"Stop," Kris said holding his hand up, "So, you think just because you and I have had some interaction with each other that we sholud go to prom together?"

Ariana wasn't sure how to respond so she opted to stay silent.  Kris scoffed, "Sweetheart, the things you just described, I've done with with other girls too.  You aren't anything special."

Kris dropped her box of choclate on the floor, "My answer is no."

He stepped on her box of chocolate and pushed past her.  The rest of EXO followed after him snickering and chuckling stepping on the chocolate also.  Ariana heard other classmates in the hall chuckling at her.  She knelt down to pick up the box, but someone stopped her.  Jennette helped her back up, "Come on, let's go, honey."

Back at home, Ariana cried into her father's lap.  Martin kissed the top of Ariana's forehead.  He warned her that this might happen…and here they were…Ariana's first heartbreak.  Ariana sobs began to quiet down, "I hate him, Daddy…"

Martin kissed her temple again, "I know, dear.  First loves really are the worst because they tend to hurt you the worst."

Ariana sniffed, "I don't know what to do with myself right now…I don't even want to go to prom."

Martin sighed as Benedict walked in the room, "Oh no…"

Martin nodded, "Kris."

Benedict sighed loudly, "What happened, love?" he asked sitting on the other side of Ariana.

"Kris stepped on the chocolate and rejected me," she explained short and sweet.

"She is also saying she doesn't want to go to prom anymore," Martin said.

Benedict looked at his partner in confusion, "Well why should she?  If she goes all it's going to be is her standing in the corner.  No!  That will not be our daughter.  She doesn't have to go to prom if she doesn't want to."

"Then what do you suggest," Martin asked, "That she jsut sit here and cry her eyes out till it's time to go to university?"

Benedict looked from Martin to Ariana, "Where would you like to go instead of prom?  Pick any place you want and you can go with Jennette."

"Really?" Ariana said smiling a little.

"Yes." "No."

Both Ariana and Benedict looked at Martin surprised.  Normally, Martin would never say no to his daughter.  "What?" he said.

"Daddy, please?" Ariana asked, "I really don't want to go to prom."

Martin sighed, "You know you when you give me those big, sad eyes of yours right?"

Ariana giggled softly and Benedict smiled.  He always admired the relationship between her and Martin.  Benedict is so grateful to her for accepting their love and marriage.  She is a great daughter who loves Benedict like her biological.  She may not call him father or dad but it's enough to hear her say 'I love you, Benedict.'

"Alright, you can go wherever you want," Martin said throwing his head back.

Ariana hugged her father very tightly, "Thank you, thank you, Daddy!"

"So where do you want to go, love?" Benedict asked.

Ariana sat there in thought for a minute and finally answered, "Jeju Island?"

Benedict clapped his hands, "Done.  Go make the plan with Jennette and I will get everything ready."

Ariana hugged Benedict giving him a kiss on the cheek.  She ran upstairs with her cell phone in hand.  Martin shook his head, "If you spoil her too much, she is gonna start asking for trips to Paris."

Benedict looked over at his partner, "We can afford it."

Martin moved closer to Benedict, "Thank you for being the cool Dad."

Benedict chuckled and kissed Martin lovingly.

Jeju Island

Ariana and Jennette sat on the beach admiring the blue ocean before them.  Jennette was sipping some coconut juice from a coconut.  She sipped the last few drops loudly, "Oh yeah…I could get used to this."

Ariana smiled, "We are missing prom."

"Whatever," Jennette said throwing her coconut away, "We are on Jeju Island.  Two best friends and the beach.  Sounds so much better then prom.  Besides, we don't have to worry about hurting our feet dancing in heels all night.  We could just dance in bare feet."

"But about D.O.?" Ariana asked looking down at her friend.

Jennette smiled, "Girl, I still got four years to make that boy realize he is in love with me."

Ariana nodded, "True………Hey, Jennette?"

"Yep?"

"I have been thinking a lot for the past week."

Jennette sat up, "What about?"

"Kris and what happened," Ariana said not looking away from the ocean, "He hurt me and he didn't even care.  He is not at all the guy I thought he was.  All the rumors are true.  I want to feel the way I feel."

Jennette sat up taking her sunglasses up, "Are we heading in the revenge direction?"

Ariana nodded looking at her best friend, "I think so…"

Jennette smirked, "Oh man…I am going to completely revamp you, Ariana."

"To the point where he would not recognize me?" 

Jennette nodded and Ariana smiled.
