Long ago, the town of Lavender was once inhabited by Spirits and Demons alike, however a young girl named Sandara, a girl with immense Spiritual Power,  was able to send the Spirits and Demons to their own domain known as the Spirit World, along with herself to ensure Demons do not cross over to the Mortal World again. However, she soons finds herself falling in love with a Dragon Spirit. Unfortunately as a Spirit, he is unable to feel the touch of a human being and so he made a deal with a Demon Sorceress disguised as a Wishing Spirit and is cursed for eternity. Under the influence of the Sorceress, he is ordered to attack his dearly beloved and so ends with the death of his human lover. The gate between the Spirit World and Mortal World is reopened, allowing Demons to terrorize the Mortal World once more.

500 years later, Dara Park, a seemingly average girl, moves into the very same town with her younger brother Sanghyun to live with their grandparents. On the night of her eighteenth birthday, she is attacked by a vicious demon and is dragged into the Spirit World where she encounters the Demon Princess who accuses her of being the reason for her entrapment. Fortunately, she is saved by a strange Spirit boy who seems to hate her very existence and is sent back to her own world. However, it seems her days in the Spirit World are far from over when she is soon pulled back into it by the Spirit of Destiny who claims her to be the reincarnation of Sandara. Fate happens to bring the hostile Spirit boy and her together but keep them out of each other’s reach. Their destinies are intertwined but out of reach. They are intangible… Can they bring peace to worlds in chaos or will Dara befall the same fate as the late Sandara?
