He said he loved you. You believed him.

The first time you met him, you were in love.

The second time you met him, he became yours.

The third time you met him, he proposed to you.

The fourth time you met him, he became your husband.

The next time you met him, everything fell apart.

He lied. Love wasn’t the one that brought you together. He never intended to be yours in the first place.

With two simple words, you were married to the man who you thought would feel the same way about you. In your perfect white wedding dress, you smiled at your husband but inside said otherwise. You were heartbroken. So why would you marry a person who broke your heart?

Simple, you thought one day, he’d return the feeling.

And why would he marry someone he doesn’t love?

He thought you’d capture his attention.

Bull, this was his father’s entire plan, all this for expanding his company, he told his son to do it, pretend to be in love with you.  

That entire night, it felt like you lost your voice. Your throat felt dry. You didn’t know what to say to your husband. And now, when you think about it, this all felt pointless.

‘He’ll never feel the same way about me.’

For once, you had nothing to say to him. You glanced at him when he wasn’t looking, ‘He looks like he regretted it.’

His gaze wouldn’t leave the window. He didn’t even look at his wife, not even a single glance.

And this is when you start to think…

I should’ve never said yes. I should’ve known he won’t change his feelings towards me.
