Whenever, Whatever (ONESHOT)

"We'll find a solution into this together, Mitchy. I won't leave you until the end." Daiki said. "Please. Let me be by your side."
Foreword

Mitchy and Daiki have been going out for almost a year now. They have been happily in love with each other but nothing lasts forever. Mitchy started acting strange. She was always spacing out, not seem in her usual self, been so quite and has been acting cold towards Daiki. Daiki couldn't bear it anymore. He felt that Mitchy has something that she has that Daiki didn't know.
"What's wrong, Mitchy?" Daiki looked at her in the eyes. "You've been acting so strange these days."
Mitchy did nothing but just looked at him with those sad eyes that Daiki himself never had seen it until today. Her eyes was starting to get teary. She looked away to hide it from him saying, "Daiki....." She started. Wiping tears from her eyes, she looked at him again in the eyes. This time, with a serious tone, ".....................Break up with me, Daiki." She finished her sentence then looked away.
Daiki was so surprised about what she has said. "W-why?" He asked her. He tried to make Mitchy look at him in the face but how much he tried, Mitchy would just looked away. He felt like crying but he can't. He don't want to be seen crying. He couldn't do anything. Mitchy was serious so without knowing the truth why she wanted to break up, Daiki replied "It's that's what you want." Leaving a crying Mitchy behind.
Daiki was so surprised about what she has said. "W-why?" He asked her. He tried to make Mitchy look at him in the face but how much he tried, Mitchy would just looked away. He felt like crying but he can't. He don't want to be seen crying. He couldn't do anything. Mitchy was serious so without knowing the truth why she wanted to break up, Daiki replied "It's that's what you want." Leaving a crying Mitchy behind.
Mitchy was crying. She felt weak. It seems like her whole energy was . "i'm sorry, Daiki. Someday, You'll know everything. I don't want to hurt you, that's why."

Many months have past since that day. They never met each other back then. Daiki was living half-heartedly everyday. He tried to get over her but he just can't. He loved her as much as he love himself. Until..
"Moshi moshi?" Daiki picked up the phone.
".....D-Daiki?" A familiar voice was heard from the other line. "It's me, Aiki. Where are you now?"
"Ohh... Ai-chan.... Long time no talk" Daiki greeted her. "I'm in the house right now. Why?"
There was a silence in the other line. Daiki heard someone sobbing. "A-are you okay, Ai-chan? What's wrong?"
Aiki was crying. She tried to talk "M-Mitchy......m-mitchy's .....d-dying."
Daiki's time almost stopped. He didn't know what to say. He was so shocked. "W-what?"
Aiki retrained herself from crying to explain everything. "Mitchy broke up with you because she's dying, Daiki. She didn't want us to tell you this but I can't hold on anymore. The more she suffers everyday, the more she needs you Daiki. I know she'll get angry to me but this is much I can do as her friend. Please, Daiki. Stay by her side for the last moment."
The last sentence made Daiki weak. "W-what? I don't have a clue about this. She was looking good. I didn't expect her to have an illness.. Why her?"
Daiki eventually rushed towards the hospital where Mitchy was. He was panting when he saw her in the ICU.He saw her smiling. She was thin now. Many medical equipment were now attached to her. Daiki didn't hesitate to enter the room. He called out her name "..............Mitchy.."
"D-Daiki?" Mitchy was so shocked. "Why? .. Why are you here?"
Daiki was not listening to her anymore. He suddenly rushed towards her and hugged her tightly. "How could you do this to me?! We're all in this together, right?! You could have told me about this! Why!?"
Tears fell from Mitchy's eyes when she hugged him back. "I don't want you to suffer as much as I did. I don't want you to be sad, Daiki. That was the only think I could think of."
"Baka!!" Daiki shouted. "I'm your boyfriend so whatever happens I should be always by your side!"
"I'm sorry. But you'll be sad if I die! I don't want to see you like that!! I do-" before Mitchy could finished her sentence, Daiki kissed her.
"We'll find a solution into this together, Mitchy. I won't leave you until the end." Daiki said. "Please. Let me be by your side."
Mitchy didn't do anything but to cry. She, herself, couldn't hold her loneliness. She just then hugged her and whispered. ' I love you, Daiki'
After that, Daiki always visits Mitchy in the hospital. Everyday.
And God was so good when one of their wished came true..
"Congratulations, Kaw-san." The doctor said. "We have found a donor for you."
"Really?!" Mitchy asked happily. "Then that means, ..."
The doctor nodded with a smile. "Yes. You'll live longer and be married."
"Who was the donor, Doc?" Daiki asked.
"Well, someone got into an accident and holds a donor card." The doctor smiled." Please rest yourself, Kaw-san. The operation would be in one week."
"Hai hai~! "Mitchy said happily. "Yatta! It's great ne, Daiki?"
Daiki nodded with a smile. "Kamesama heard our prayers, Mitchy."
"Un!! " Mitchy smiled. "I'll be able to live a normal life again! yattta~~!"
But.....
"Sa...ya?" Mitchy said. "Saya-chan was the donor?"
The doctor nodded. "Yes. And her family backed out. They said that Saya might wake up. They don't want to give away Saya's hope to wake up. I-I'm so sorry for this."
Tears flows from Mitchy's face. She didn't know what to say or what to feel. "Saya-chan got into n accident?"
Daiki felt himself punching the door of the room. "How did this happen?! It was our chance to save you, Mitchy! Why?! "
"...It's okay!!" Mitchy forced herself to smile. "Daijoubo!"
"But-"
Mitchy cutted him off. "I'm feeling weak, Daiki. Let me sleep, okay?"
Daiki stared at her for a moment.
'Why? Saya was our friend but I can't just accept this!"
He rushed towards the exit.
"Why did Saya-chan's family backed off? I woun't let this happen!"
Daiki was crossing the street when-

"Mitchy! Mitchy! Can you hear me? Don't let go, okay?" The doctor said. He was pumping Mitchy. Putting more medical equipment into her. "Come on! Dont give up, Mitchy!"
Aikiand Mitchy's family were outside the room when the Doctor came out. He was smiling. "It's a good news..."
Aiki eventually rushed towards the doctor. "How is she, Doc?"
"Apparently, she might not survived to th next 24 hours but an unexpected donor was found. The donor had an accident an hour ago and he was carrying a donor card. We have to do the operation as soon as possible."
Aiki smiled. "Thank God." Aiki looked at the Doctor again. "Who's the donor, Doc?"
"Daiki Arioka." The doctor said. "I know Mitchy won't accept this but Daiki got into an accident a while ago and he was carrying a donor card. Don't worry, Mitchy will lost all of her memories after the operation."

2 years have past.....
"I'll be off now~!" Mitchy said.
"Hai!! Have a safe trip!" Mitchy's mother replied.
Mitchy was now back to normal except for the scar of the operation. She's now going to school as usual. It's the first day of her senior year now. The cherry blossoms are now blooming. She was walking when She saw a man wearing the same uniform as her walking ahead her. As the two of them keep walking, the man's back was vanishing as he walks forwards. As Mitchy was watching his back vanishing, she stopped walking and tears flow from her eyes.
"Dai...ki"
