Tell Me I'm Your National Anthem

Description

Poverty sounds better than how the reality acts upon it. Some people might say they wouldn’t be cruel enough to differentiate the hospitalities they would give towards a group of people when poverty is engulfing them but the truth will disagree. Hyojung is a decent undergraduate girl who lives at the countryside area with her single mother and another six younger siblings. Finishing high school was painful for Hyojung due to her family’s limited income that solely depends from their small dying corn field due to the fact that eight mouths need to be fed and six siblings to be schooled. But, going to college is her dream. Her grades are good but it still can’t afford her any scholarship. When a woman almost the age of her own mother comes and offers her a job that gives her both chances to go to college and a better living of her family, she can’t help but to cry her eyes out, not in happiness but in despair. Irony as it sounds.

Foreword

It is an arranged marriage fiction. Expect more because I’m trying to do something different. Oh and it’s angsty.
