Himchan ignored his mother’s disappointed sigh when she saw the plane ticket sitting in his hand, his room all packed up and seated behind him in an army of luggage bags. She’d made it very clear that she wasn’t going to support him one bit if he chose to do it but nobody’s opinion mattered right now. He was going to live his dream. He had it all planned since he was a preteen but it was actually happening now. He wrapped a loose arm around his little sister and pulled her into a halfhearted hug. He was only doing it to be nice anyways. He pecked his mother on the cheek one last time before he walked out of the two room apartment he’d called home for the last twenty years of his life. He checked his wallet to make sure all his savings were in it and dashed down to the taxi waiting below. He was actually doing this. He was going to the city of love to find love.
