Once upon a time... Let's not start with that. After the success of their newest boy group, Bangtan Boys, Big Hit Entertainment decided that it may be time for them to debut their newest girl group, also known as 'DIVIDED', these girls believed they would be together in one group. They thought everything would be perfect and they would never regret their decision to become idols, but how wrong they were. In fact, in a twist of fate - and a new marketing strategy from the company - the company had decided to split up the group into two different sub-groups. One group would handle the 'y concept' while their other half would take on the 'cute concept', officially making them rivals to one another as the two groups compete to win music shows and gain the most amount of fans. Despite this, they aren't always rivals and in fact they join up as one group every so often to promote together. But this doesn't always end as well as expected and often the girls will end up in tears before promotions are over.

Hello! I'm really sorry for not having this up earlier, I kept changing it in drafts and trying to work out the storyline before publishing it. I've also been pretty busy lately so hopefully this will make up for my lack of activeness and probably for the next couple of weeks. I hope it's not too bad and you guys enjoy this story!

moon haemin
the oldest member of the group, as well as being the leader, she is one of the main singers in the group and the other members would class her as the 'appa' of the group. haemin has a short temper and most of the time, the girls avoid arguing with her. they like to for being quiet.
park yoonmi
the younger of the two leaders, yoonmi is a better dancer than most at her age and has been training with the company for a total of six years, showing her dedication and hard work. the members say she is the 'umma' as she's the patient and motherly one.
cho yeojin
as one of the slightly older members, yeojin likes to boss the young ones around and constantly play pranks on them. she's fluent in japanese and mandarin, something she had to learn throughout her years as a trainee. yeojin is the main rapper of the group, something unexpected from her cute features and innocent voice. she's close with yoonmi.
yoo miyoung
miyoung is one of the better dancers in the group, something that catches the attention of a lot of people. miyoung still isn't completely fluent in korean and she sometimes messes up her pronunciation but the other members help her out a lot. miyoung is one of the louder members and she doesn't hide her opinions.
jung cheonsa
being the visual of the group, cheonsa has a lot of pressure to handle. she's the more creative one of the group and the other girls often notice her spacing out in the middle of interviews or photoshoots. like the other members, she is talented and takes the position of lead rapper/main dancer.
kim ahri
kim ahri, the youngest member from both groups. despite being the baby of the group, she's extremely talented and is one of the lead singers with her beautiful voice. she's also an actress and gets upset rather easily. surprisingly, ahri is able to pull off both concepts which is the reason for her being in the ier group.
seol eunjoo
eunjoo is one of the younger members, part of the 'maknae line' and this shows when she is around the other members. eunjoo is also the only member of chinese descent and can speak fluent chinese due to this, she has some history of scandals after being pictured with tao of exo when she was still a trainee. she's the lead vocalist and visual of the cuter group.
song hyera
the older of the two maknaes, hyera shows her maturity through her determination and stubbornness however she's the cuter maknae and is always showing off her cuter side around her members. she's a talented singer and dancer, much like the other members however hyera is good with her languages and she can speak conversational japanese, something that draws her closer to miyoung.
