SanityI first saw those doe-like eyes as the golden disk among the background tinted with blue and orange was saying goodbye, losing its granduous splendor every second that passed by. Yet, that bright, glistening light was still captured in those innocent, chocolate colored eyes filled with wonder.
Like that bright light, my heart had also been captured and I knew he was my true love.
I followed him everyday, I was the figure in the dark he knew was there but never dared to venture.
I swallowed every passing second with him, he was my daily caramel macchiato for my mornings. He had replaced the medications the doctor said I “had to take” to stimulate my happiness. Who needed it when he released dopamine into my brain again and again into my sane mind.
