I'm sick of being rescued by men.  Sometimes it's unavoidable.  Like when you're surrounded or cold.  The usual circumstances don't apply and I l let them rescue me.  He didn't know what the circumstances really were and now he's following me around!  Just because he helped me he thinks I'll fall for him! As if!  

Of course, I'd have to work the late shift.  That meant I'd have to hope I'd get close to home before the subway shut down at midnight.  Or else I'd be stuck waiting in line again for a cab.  Only my luck seemed to have run out as I got mugged in line. Turns out not all thieves are equal as my pursuit turned into a capture and I found myself upside down.  I really need to learn to let things go.  At least there are some decent people in the world although, if he thinks I'm going to be grateful he has another thing coming.  I know a gangster when I see one.
