Finally.

Finally crying was heard in the next room.

The relief of tension came in waves as it washed over Joonmyun as he watched his cousin’s husband walk out of the room exclaiming that he was a father.

“Hyung, noona is okay, right? What’s the gender of the baby?”

“You mean...babies,” Joonmyun could feel his cheeks hurting as he smiled. His cousin had finally gotten the family of her dreams. A set of twins, girl and boy.

“Noona must be so happy! But what about the nursery we spent so much time on? What will happen to that?!” Worrying about this was the biggest of their problems right now.

“We’ll just have to work on the other half double time then!”

This was a perfect day. Joonmyun’s favorite cousin had a boy and a girl as she always wanted, and her husband was going to become a doting father, and they’ll live happily ever after.

Joonmyun quickly picked up his cell phone and phoned his boyfriend, Kris. After a few tones, a sleepy sounding voice picked up and Joonmyun ecstatically explained the situation. A good fifteen minutes later, Kris slowly started responding.

“Joonmyun-ah...it’s 3AM. Can I go back to sleep and have you tell me tomorrow morning? I didn’t catch a thing you said.” His sleepy boyfriend was still adorable even when he was tired. But Kris was right, his noona had given birth at an ungodly time for everyone else.

“Yeah yeah. Get back to bed. You have work at 9AM too. Sorry about this. Love you! XOXO!” Joonmyun proceeded to make kissy noises at the phone before hanging up and turning his attention to the overtly happy new parents.
