“Ahhh! It’s really really delicious! Thank you so much for the food ommonim!” Im Ji cheered as she finished her third bowl of food,

After the class, the whole gang decided to go to Yunhyung’s restaurant and eat to celebrate the last day of their school and the start of their winter break.

“Wow, Im... despite of your small figure, you eat like a real monster!” Jinwhan said, looking very impressed

Yunhyung’s mother then hurriedly went to their table after hearing Im Ji’s comment, both hands carrying another set of food,

“Omo! Im Ji-ah honey, you still eat more! I’m so happy you liked the food!” she beamed and dashed at Im Ji’s side

“Min Ah honey~ here~ more watermelon for you. Eat, eat~”

“Thank you Auntie~” The brunette said showing off her sweet eye smile as the beautiful middle aged lady gently tapped her cheeks,

“Just call me if you need more, ok? I’ll just be at the kitchen” Yunhyung’s mother said rushing back to the kitchen

“Kansamihda Ommonim! We’ll definitely eat well!” Im Ji thanked loudly as she gets her fourth bowl

“By the way oppa, mom wants to see you again. She said it’s been a while since the last time you visited her so she misses you already” Im Ji informed Jinwhan about her mom’s request,

“Oh really?! Ok, I’ll drop by today. Help me buy some fruits later for her” Jinwhan smiled.

“How about me Im? Did auntie miss me too?” Yunhyung coming from somewhere asked curiously as he sits beside Min who’s currently busy eating her watermelon,

“Yah! Noona! The juice of your watermelon is spilling on the table” Junwhae groaned noticing how messy Min eats.

Yunhyung automatically hand her a tissue, making Donghyuk chuckled.

“hmn… as far as I know,  she doesn’t mention your name that much… so maybe no” the young lady with curly hair shrugged and continued to eat,

Everyone laughed at what she said making Yuhyung pout, “Dang! That’s so unfair” he thought.

“Kidding! Of course! She miss the whole gang, so you guys better visit her soon”

“that’s just remind me… Min, Here~" She stopped from eating for a while and fished out something on her wallet and gave it her girl best friend.

“Gift certificates for two in Lotte World? Woow~ but what for?!” Min Ah half-squealed, catching the everyone’s attention...

“Uwaah! That’s awesome! Noona, let’s go together! I haven’t been there for a while now” Donghyuk thrilled, looking overly excited by just thinking about visiting Lotte world once again,

“but it’s sad there’s only two tickets… I wanna go also” Junwhae moped while muching some dukbokki

“I wanna go too, MinAh” Yunyhung butted in, also expressing his desire to go to the said amusement park,

Im Ji suddenly looked extremely sorry to Min for just giving her only two tickets. Now, she’s thorn among the three who showed interest in coming with her

“uhm… sorry guys. But... It’s actually mom’s gift for her upcoming birthday”

“Oh yeah right! It’s your Day-3 Min! Congratulations in advance!” Jinwhan sweetly told her.

Min Ah smiled, she thought it was so sweet of Im Ji’s mom to get her this gift, but also wondered why they all looked so stoked about her birthday.. 

well in fact, there’s nothing really to be super excited about it.

For her, it’s just another simple day; the only difference is that her age will never be the same again, and she needs to start introducing herself as an 18 year old young lady. She’ll be able to avail some of the government’s benefits, and that’s it. So she doesn’t really understand the hype they were giving for that day.

“Wow. Please tell auntie, I really appreciate it.” She genuinely thanked Im Ji,

“If that’s for her birthday, then I should be the one to accompany her, I’m her best friend after all” Yunhyung proudly announced, he even stand on his seat just to lift his chest like superman does, still holding his bowl in both hands

Junwhae’s face fell and grumbles at Jinwhan who’s laughing at his dongsaengs fighting on who’s going to be with Min Ah to accompany her in Lotte World. “Dang! Hyung! He’s playing dirty”

“Well, I’m her favorite dongsaeng, so I can keep to this fight” Donghyuk retorted, not wanting to lose to his hyung

“Great” Junwhae looked dumbfounded as Jinwhan pats his shoulder while laughing, much louder this time.

“You know guys; maybe I’ll just go with Im Ji… So we can just have our girl bonding” Min Ah decided looking at them with sorry eyes, she can’t really choose among the boys especially when they all eager about it.

Yunhyung and Donghyuk snapped and turned their eyes to Junwhae who’s busy grinning to himself.

The older one asked, “why are you so happy?! She didn’t pick you dude”

He then looked at them showing off his perfect white teeth and said “I know. I’m not deaf. It’s just that, I’m fine with it as long as she didn’t pick between the two of you, dirty cheaters”

That made Jinwhan and the two girls into a laughing braganza causing other people at the restaurant stare at their table.

*Min Ah’s POV*

“Umma, I’m home!”

I shouted as I put my school bag in the couch.

I’m in the middle of taking my shoes off when I heard my umma’s voice coming out from somewhere,

“Oh welcome back honey!? I made kimchi! Is Hyeongie still there?” She said while searching Yunhyung behind me. 

She still in her apron and her gloves are full of red, probably from making kimchi,

“Annyeong Auntie! I’ll still here. But I’ll be going now…” Yunhyung said closing our main door.

He still went off and sent me home even though I said I’m totally fine by myself. He’s just so persistent and pulled another fatherly act on me.

He kept on saying “It’s dangerous for a young lady like you to walk alone in the cold night street” and “It’s for your own safety” Oh my, how old I am again? 9? Psh~ But of course… I’m still thankful to him.
