“hey! look here! I found it!”

“REALLY!?” the little girl lit her head up from the big hole where she’s looking when she heard her friend’s voice

she runs enthusiastically with a beam on her face,

“where?! I wanna see!! where are you??!” she shouts,

“here!”

the youngster followed the voice and kept on running,

“wheree?! where are you?”
 

she runs and runs and kept on asking

“yah! where are you?! I can’t see you!”

“I’m here! c’mon faster! It’s flying away already!” the voice said but the lassie can’t still find where her friend is,

“oh no! wait! I still want to see it! where are you really?!” She replied, getting out of breath

“I said I’m here!”

She desperately looked behind to see where the voice came from, but still couldn’t find it.

The beads of sweats are starting to form in her forehead from continuously running; and her eyes are beginning to wary. She kept on shouting but it seems like her voice is starting to fade away as well.

All she can hear now is the unsteady beat of her ramming heart, the fast changing pace of the wind that is lingering in her skin and her screaming mind for her missing friend.

Her mind is spinning, her knees are trembling

but she doesn’t mind, she still continued to run

and run...

and then,

finally,

right behind her ears, she heard a whisper…

“Here”

she instantly looked behind only to find two colorful butterflies beautifully flying away in the sunbeams

“always smile happily, bright Mingah”

Min Ah growled and ignore her alarm clock,

instead of preparing herself to wake up, the young lady tightens her hug to her pillow even more

“soo cold… soo cooold” the closed-eyed Min Ah muttered while covering her freezing body of her favorite winter blanket.

she stayed still just like that until someone opens the door,

“Min Ah darling! Wake up, you lazy !” her mom walked around her room picking up some of her clothes laying on the floor,

“am I really sure I’m raising a ‘daughter’?! cause this room looks like own by some rebellious teenage boy” Min Ah’s mom pondered,

“ugh leave my room alone, umma. This got nothing to do with my gender identity” the sleepy brunette replied irritably

“aigoo~ you get up! You still have school you know!” her mom retort slapping her

“ummaaaa~ five more minuteees” she demanded,

“honneeey…”

“pleaseeeee”

“but Yunhyungie will be here anytime soon” her mom reasoned out,

“three” Min Ah continued to bargain,

“three?!”

“yes please, three more minuteees”

“aigoo that’s it! you win! this girl really… get up after three then” her mom finally surrendered and took her exit out of her room

“love you too, umma” Min Ah smiled dreamily with still eyes close, tautens her pillow once more, and drifted away to sleep.

“Good morning to you too. and please… mind to excuse your saliva Yunhyung” Min Ah said, while closing the front gate of their house,

“umma! we’ll be going now!” she shouted.

“Babe! why so cracky early in the morning!” Yunhyung protested pouting,

“babe?! watch your words, son. It’s getting nasty” smacking his arms with the book in her hands as she starts walking

“ouch! then I’m sorry Min Ah-sshi?” Yunhyung sarcastically snapped and strolled beside her.

The two of them walked together side by side. Their morning routine would be always like this; him going to Bae’s residence everyday to pick Min Ah then will head to school together

“soooo, it’s your D-3! How does it feel?” he asked, opening another topic

“what do you mean.. should I feel something special?” she shrugged,

“whaat?! you’ll be turning 18 in three days!” the young man hollered, exaggerating a bit

“ah yeah, it’s sad. I’m getting old…” she sighed, “I’m more excited to our last school today”

“ha ha! very rude of you! I’m eighteen, by the way” the boy said making a face

“I know.. That’s why I said so” the brunette shot back nonchalantly,

Min Ah stopped and turned her head towards him, she then noticed her friend's hagard aura and gave him one concerned look with her almond-like eyes,

“yah.. did you already take medicines for that? look at you, you look like a zombie”  

Yunhyung just gave her his what-stop-acting-like-my-mother look and sighed

“yes… and no, cause seriously, I’m ok… It’s just the weather is– ACHOOO!!

..…..so coold”

“tsk… what a poor child” shaking head in disbelief, She fixed his scarf in his neck properly.

while grinning, Yunhyung just stayed still like a behave 5-year old kid, letting Min Ah do it for him.

“and this… is what I’m talking about… I’ll be like this once I turn 18...”

“be like what?” he blinked innocently,

“like you” Min Ah nodded

“what? tell me Bae Min Ah-sshi, What?!” Yunhyung challenged, getting a little bit frustrated

“like that... oh! you really want me to say it out loud?!” the young lady chortled,

“HAHAHAHAHA! oh gosh Hyeongie! you slowpoke! HAHAHA!” Min Ah laughed happily, running away to the furious Yunhyung

“yah! you come back here! you sassy brat!” the boy exclaimed, chasing Min Ah.

she then heard someone yell,

Min Ah clogged and looked to her side only to find her favorite dongsaeng running towards her.

“great! my life saver!” she ran like speed ball to her dongsaeng’s direction and opened her arms very wide ready to hug the said person,

“DONG DONG!!!!!!”

“noona!!”

The two exchanged heartfelt embrace and spazz with each other’s arms,

“wow! What a dramatic scene.. hyung hold me, I think I’m gonna cry” Junhwae said to his hyung beside him wearing his amused expression while walking to their spot

“just let them have their moment…. Min! annyeong!”  Jinwhan waved,
