Pick Up the Pen

Description

Warning: this piece is very abstract and potentially confusing. Chapters are also very long, please brace yourselves. Basically a description of the lives and contributions of each EXO member in the life of a young woman struggling to find herself and get back to her writing career. This piece was completely frivolous of me to write, and was written within the span of roughly 48 hours not including editing time (if this is read and enjoyed by anyone out there, a poster would be appreciated, hehehe :3).

This piece was written out of my own frustration for my current writer's block. Which goes to show that even when it's difficult, you can keep going, I guess.

Please, no hate >.< I know this piece probably doesn’t make any sense, nor is it gaspingly romantic, fluffy or angsty, but please try to enjoy the abstract quality, description and imagery. Otherwise, don’t feel obligated to read. Still, I hope you’ll enjoy!

Foreword

When you're lost in yourself and can't find a way back to the surface, sometimes, memories are all you have to save yourself. Even the ones you don't want to have. But those are usually the ones that save you.

Let this be an inspiration to those struggling to write right now, if I may get poetic.

Pick up the pen. Keep writing.

Chapter 2: Wow. It's just.... I don't know how to pen down my feelings about this story because you evoked all kinds of emotions with just a mere 3 chaptered story.
The emotions of the protagonist were so palpable and vivid, it felt like it was I having these feelings. At times, she seemed like the antagonist as well, all because she was the core reason for the way she had become.
The way you made her confront her past, because it was indeed the only way she could move on to her future, the one with Kyungsoo.
I hope you continue to write Abbie, because you're one hell of a gifted writer.
God Bless.

I'm seriously running out of ways to tell you how much I love your work. Your characters are thought out so well, your writing and vocab is great, and your ideas are just wow. Thank you for this. Can't wait to read more of your writing! :)

Chapter 3: Whoa, this is really interesting and deep in a way. Although I am a bit confused by the story, I really liked it and I think I'll be doing the same when I hit a dead end in writing: pick up the pen and keep writing. It's really great advice! Thank you for this amazing story and I look forward to your update for SMM ^^
