“Why I like him? He's strong.”

“He's weak.”

“Strong.” She pointed to her head, “He's strong in here.” Her finger fell down to point to her heart, “And here. You do realize strong doesn't just mean strength wise. He may not be as strong as other guys that way but what he's been through....his whole life, you don't know how much strength it takes to survive that long. To have words rip you apart, insecurity take over your life, and to face death every night. That's why I like him. Because he's stronger than anyone I've ever known.”

“They do.” He nodded, “But she never judged me.” He blinked a few times, “She's the first to not stare, to not ask, to not laugh or make fun of. She talked so naturally like we new each other for years. If she leaves, she can leave. When you meet a person that doesn't care how you look or act....” A smile placed his lips, “It's the most wonderful feeling in the world and I'm just glad I had it. That's why she means so much to me. Because she's a friend that can never be replaced.”
