It has been about 6 months since the Dream High drama ends. The cast are rare and almost never met except Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Suzy who was in one agency. JYP and Bae Young Jun decided to make the Dream High season 2. After some consideration, they chose to continue using the cast from Dream High 1 if they are still exited, and doing auditions to find additional cast for more interesting story. Dream High 2 tell abut their last year of high school. After they debut in the second year in high school, they managed to get the victory trophies from various music programs and awards. They will be faced with the problem of school, work, romance and friendship.

JYP will contact the manager of each cast to confirm whether the six of them are still exited to play a part in the Dream High 2 or not because of their tight schedule. Then he began to plan a schedule auditions for additional cast for this drama.
