Description
In Which Kim Jongin finds out that his maternal family are freaking shape-shifters, and goes on an oh-so-magical adventures in a rip-off version of HogwartsxAlternativeCollege with his not-so-human dormmates.
Because...
Kim Jongin lived an absolutely normal life, doing fairly well in school to make sure his parents don't complain too much. Nothing could have been more normal with his life...
BUT that's not the point.
"IT" all happened because Jongin's mother just "happened" to leave out some "minor" details about his family lineage that got Jongin packing and sent off to boarding school, namely, Azure Academy for "Talented" Youths. While that would have been fine, too, Jongin now has to learn to deal with his new identity on top of school, and most importantly, his 11 new dorm-mates who all have problems of their own.
Welcome to the Exo Dorm at Azure Academy of "Talented" Youths.
Long Story Short, I can no longer handle the complexity of my other story and there's no way I'm reviewing all of it and picking it up where I left off, so it went byebye (deleted). THUS I PRESENT MY NEW STORY.
I'm trying my hand at something more fun, since other things that I write are way too depressing and angsty (and I am way done with that for now). I mean, especially when EXO's so freaking hilarious all the time, why not. Just WHY not?
Thus I present this...monstrosity that happened in my head while watching some EXO clips. Because I can, and it happened.

Foreword
"Mom!"
Mrs.Kim turned from her newspaper towards the sound of the voice, a soft smile on her face.
"Yes dear?"
Loud thumping noises could be heard from above her as her son Kim Jongin ran towards her, hands gripping his hair as he forced himself to stop in front of her.
"What is this!?" He screamed at her, violently pointing at his eyes and then his feet, before jumping up and down in frustration.
"What is what, honey?" Mrs.Kim laughed to herself. For some odd reason, seeing her son frustrated was hilarious to her. It reminds her of when Jongin was still a little kid and throwing tantrums...
"THIS!" Jongin yelled, exasperated. "MY EYES! WHY ARE THEY ORANGE!? AND THIS!" Jongin put his leg out and pointed, where he had rolled up his pants leg, "WHY DO I HAVE SCALES?"
"Well, dear, body lotion can do wonders to dry skin, and I told you not to eat so many carrots but you insisted!" Mrs.Kim sighed dramatically as Jongin stared at his mother unamused.
"Mom, this isn't funny."
At this, Mrs.Kim put down her newspaper, before getting up and busing herself with anything she could find in the kitchen.
"Well, dear, I think it's best that we discuss this when your dad gets back, don't you think...?"
As if on cue, the front doors burst open and Mr. Kim marched in, a bright smile on his face. "I'm home!"
"Oh dear..." whispered Mrs. Kim, before looking back at Jongin, who tapped his feet expectantly at her.
After setting up three cups of tea at the kitchen table, and Mr.Kim's reassuring pat on Mrs.Kim's back, Mrs.Kim finally sighed.
"Honey, we're shapeshifters."
"We're what?!?"

Kim Jongin:
Your average 17 year old who just found out that he came from a lineage of animal shape-shifters. As his father is human, and his mother had been skipped in the shape-shifting gene, Mrs.Kim was sure that Jongin was going to be completely human until he began to morph. Thus, Kim Jongin found himself at the Exo Dorm at Azure Academy for "Talented" Youth with his fellow dorm-mates:
Xiumin: an overly energetic bakeneko who's not one to mess with
Luhan: a "multi-personalitied" faun, or satyr, as he likes to correct people. It's manlier.
Kris: an insomniac Baku whos way too picky with the dreams he eats, and also prides himself in being 1/4th dragon
Suho: a senseless haetae insisting on being the care-taker of the dorm, even if he's not the oldest
Lay: A Kirin who was adopted by fun-loving river and tree spirits and has a world of his own apparently
Baekhyun: A mischievous pixie with more tricks up his sleves than he would like to admit
Chen: A highly influential poltergeists who has turned half the dorm into "trolls" (supposedly, according to Suho)
Chanyeol: a clueless djinn who's still not sure how to use his abilities but honestly don't care
D.O.: an Owl Tengu who is a bit overly protective and cook delicious meals
Tao: an narcissistic elf who's also a bit of a scaredy cat despite how he's trained in martial arts.
and Sehun: an anaemic vampire who doesn't like the taste of blood and aparently is also a bit narcoleptic
