JinYoung sat on a bench on the sidewalk in the dark. His hands were stuffed in his pocket and he drew random designs with the toe of his shoe. He couldn't stop thinking about HeeJin. He wanted to know how she was, what it was like there, if she needed anything. Ever since that kiss, he wanted her more and more. It was suffocating not talking to her.
HeeJin was being droven home by the chaffeur. The car stopped at the red light and she looked out the window. She saw a familiar figure sitting on the bench by himself. *JinYoung...oppa?* she thought. Her heart squeezed and her fingers were tempted to open the door. She held herself back. The car drove past him but it was only a couple seconds when she couldn't take it anymore.
"Stop the car." she commanded and the car halted to a stop. She stepped out of the car and ran back to the bench. She saw JinYoung still sitting there and she gulped. She slowly walked up to him. "Oppa." she said. He looked up and his eyes rounded in surprise. He stood up. "HeeJin-ah, what are you doing here?" he asked. HeeJin suddenly pulled him into a tight hug. She buried her face in his shoulder to hide her tears.
Instantly, his arms wrapped around her and he held her tightly. The familiar warmth and comfort gave him a smile. "I missed you." she mumbled, "Everyday felt empty." JinYoung softly kissed the temple of her head. "Promise me that you won't leave me again like that. I don't think I can bear it again." she sniffled and nodded. JinYoung buried his face in the crook of her neck and they held each other like that for a long time. They wanted time to freeze and stay like that forever.
"Saranghae, oppa." she softly said. Those three words that JinYoung had been waiting years to hear made his heart melt and jump. A wide grin spread across his face. "I love you too HeeJin-ah, I always will and nothing can make me stop." He gently pressed his lips against hers.
