"Look, I'm really sorry I can’t come with you...but this presentation is just so nerve-wrecking, I gotta go early so i can practice for it. I'm really sorry..." You buttoned your jacket clumsily as you apologized to Taehyung.

He was pouting his best pout to make you go to the zoo with him but you just couldn’t. You had to go present your work to your boss today, so to get the year-end bonus if the idea was accepted. You wanted to take Taehyung on a little vacation before he goes away for his tour again, so you just had to ace it.

"Fine.....but if you don’t do well I'm gonna go sleep with Jimin at the dorm tonight," Taehyung warned in a mock-serious tone.

"Don’t you dare," you warned back, walking over to him.

You know it was a fuss if he does so because the next morning, Jimin will be texting you to get him home; meaning that he was probably causing trouble…and you never like it when he does, because his troubles are all so bizarre and out of the ordinary. But still, you softened your gaze at him as you fixed his bed hair.

"Just have fun, okay? You have the whole week off so it won’t hurt if you spend just a day without me, right?" You smiled down at him.

Sitting at the edge of the bed, his head levelled to your tummy, he frowned cutely. He wiggled his body slightly as in to say 'no' and landed his arms around your waist. He pulled you closer and groaned.

"Okay...be back real fast, okay? I'll make dinner, if I can. Or not, we'll just order take-out," he looked up.

"Take-out is always fine."

You cupped his face, tilted it up and kissed his forehead. He made sniffling noises as if he was about to cry but then he stood and cupped your face in return. He was tall, so it wasn’t an issue when you knew you had to look up to meet his eyes. He scrunched up his nose and giggled. And then he kissed you.

"Your tie is messed up again," he whispered.

He let go of you and grabbed your tie, trying to fix it. The bad side to working as a magazine editor was that you had to dress well, always. And of all the things you could think of wearing to look nice for the presentation, was a tie to go with your dusty pink chiffon blouse, and white pants.

"Usually in dramas, the girl would always be the one to fix the guy's tie, not the other way around," Taehyung said, teasing you.

"Well, you don’t wear a tie, but I do fix your attire every day. So its fine, right?" You smiled.

Taehyung smiled back and tucked a strand of your hair behind your ears after he finished fixing your tie. Grabbing your handbag and guiding you to the living room, Taehyung didn’t once let go of your hand. It made you feel bad as you knew he had wanted you to go to the zoo with him for a while now.

"Here. Good luck, I hope your boss will love your idea plan. If he does, tell him I helped you with it but if he doesn’t, just say our style is different from his," Taehyung laughed.

"Okay, I'll do my best. And you, behave while you're on your own, okay? Dont cause any trouble or try to out-animal the ones in the cages. Wear thick clothes and also the scarf I got you last week, alright?"

"Yes, mom, I know. And dont forget to eat, dont run around and dont scare the animals. I know," he imitated your worried voice and smiled.

"Good. I'm going now," you pat his head and got your shoes on.

"Wait- have you eaten anything?" Taehyung stopped you as you opened the door.

"No, but I'll be buying some bread and milk at the subway, so dont worry."

"Buy the most nutritious ones okay?" He reminded.

A little touched by his sudden attention, -though it was given daily- you smiled. You got back inside, pushed him gently against the shoe rack and you kissed him. He blinked a little too rapidly for a few times but then started to kiss you back, only to have you pull away; nipping a little on his lips.

"You're nutritious enough." You smiled at the shocked Taehyung and closed the door behind you.

"Argh, I'm so tired...," you groaned, lying on the couch as soon as you got home.

The house was quiet. Taehyung left a little text after you got home saying he would be back later than he planned. He said that he wanted to visit his old school while was out for the zoo trip, so you replied saying it was okay as you got up to take a shower. You sand as you cleaned yourself up and changed into a more comfortable set of clothes.

Sitting back on the couch, you turned the TV on and started to smile when you got more texts from Taehyung. He sent you pictures of himself posing with the animals that he took while he was at the zoo and the school.

'Look! It's doing tricks!'

'i bet you're jealous!'

'Soonsim loves me!'

'I went to school hehe❤'

He even put captions to make the pictures look more exciting and memorable for you. Again, you felt bad for not having the opportunity to go with him. You could just imagine that it would turn out great if you had followed. Knowing Taehyung, you knew that wherever you go with him, you were sure to enjoy it; thanks to his unending enthusiasm and child-like personality.

"he sure did enjoy his trip. Well, good; it doesn't make me feel so bad for not going with him then," you muttered to yourself, getting up to make some coffee.

it was raining outside so you thought it was just nice to cuddle up with some blankets and pillows in front of the TV and enjoy some coffee with some snacks. On the contrary though, before you could even pick out a movie to watch by yourself, you slowly drifted into unconsciousness. But you didn't forget to text Taehyung before you slept.

'I'm going to take a nap, okay? Don't be surprised to find a sprawling me on the couch when you get back. It's raining here so if you get near don't forget to use the umbrella I packed for you. Good night.'

After a few hours of soundless sleep, you slowly got up to a warm yet cheeky hand playing with your hair. Sleepily, you sat up; with your eyes closed and your nose scrunched up. A deep-toned voice giggle was heard not a few inches away from your face, you smiled.

opening your eyes, you were greeted with a boy who had a smile as warm as the summer breeze, looking at you as if you were golden. Taehyung, Kim loving-Taehyung. Involuntarily, a smile crept up your face, only to disappear the second after when you realized that his hair was somewhat wet.

"You forgot to bring the umbrella, didn't you?" You asked him, stern.

Face down -as if he was guilty of a crime, he nodded and pouted just slightly. Instantly feeling bad for him, you got up and got a towel from the bedroom you two shared. Sitting back down again, you started to dry his hair, all the while with Taehyung making his 'sorry' puppy faces -even with the sniffling sounds, at you. You couldn't help but smile. You were mad at him, of course, for letting himself be rained on, but you also couldn't help but worry for him. 

"I can never get mad at you, do you know tht?" You asked, to which Taehyung smiled in response as a 'yes'.

"And I, can never get bored of the view of you sleeping," Taehyung grinned.

Wrapping his head w the towel, you left a little kiss on his nose. Not wanting to lose, he placed one of his on yours. Knowing where this little game was going, you tried to escape from the upcoming kisses but Taehyung's hands were too fast for you. He grabbed both your arms and pulled you back onto the couch. You expected him to pin you down and rained on you w kisses but he was the opposite. He just sat there, smiling softly at you w his grip on your arms getting loose. Not tht you were complaining, but it seemed off. Suddenly, he pulled you closer, laid himself down on the couch then craddled you on his body. He made your head rest on his chest as his hands went to rub your back, as if to soothe you.

"Tae...what's the matter?" You worried, but didnt move.

"...how was your day?" He gently asked you.

Slowly, the worry disappeared. Secretly smiling against his built chest, you reached your hands out to hug the boy. He was worried, you thought. Maybe he knew tht you might be feeling guilty for not going to the zoo w him.

"It was fine...I guess. Boss didnt really pick my idea but it was in the top considerations, so I guess we got it," you said bluntly.

"Thts great. I'm really glad he didnt reject it. Are you happy w your presentation?" He asked as his fingers found its way to play w your hair.

"Mm-hm. It was flawless. Some even clapped their hands for me," you chuckled.

"Yay~ So now do I hv you all to myself? Like, really?" Taehyung asked, hopeful.

You smiled at the change of his tone. He was anticipating something so you tried to highten it. You looked up and smiled at him. Nuzzling your face into his neck, you breathed a 'yes' as you felt him shiver down to his feet. He chuckled, wrapping his hands around your waist, wanting you closer.

"I'm hungry," you suddenly said.

"Me too. I almost forgot tht I ordered some noodles and fried chicken a little while ago," Taehyung mentioned.

He said it as if he was hungry too, but you were well aware tht he was also hungry for something else too.

"Aaahhh so hungry," you groaned as you buried you face deeper into his neck, almost kissing him.

You hand drew circles on his chest, causing him to make excited little chuckles. You could feel him fidgeting in his spot so you laughed. He was somewhat shy; which was abnormal since he's one to hv so little of a shy side. So voluntarily, you decided to sit up and say it.

"I kinda had a bath earlier but now w you hogging me while you're still dirty from the zoo and the rain, I think I hv to take another bath," you smirked down at him, doing a little eyebrow dance.

Almost immediately, Taehyung sat up and bumped your noses together before obviously saying,

"I need a bath too. How bout we reduce the use of water by bathing together? You know, as a go green thing...? Well, I mean...if you want to," he grinned, tilting his head a little to the side.

"I'd love to...but, in a bit, okay? My legs fell asleep," you said as you laughed at Taehyung's pout.

Without any hesitation whatsoever, he picked you up in his arms; which turned you into a giggling fit. Of course, he followed not a heartbeat later. He wrapped your legs around his waist and supported your weight from under your thighs as he started to strip. He had gotten out of his pullover; bare-chested and had succeeded in pulling off yours. You giggled as Taehyung started to kiss you all over your shoulder and collarbone. But then he stopped when he noticed something popping out of your pullover's pocket; which lay on the floor.

"What's that?" He asked, crouching down w you still hanging onto him like a koala.

He scanned the little rectangular papers and a smile slowly crept up her face. Then he started giggling while wrapping his arms around your and burying his face into your hair. He got up again and spinned around the living room w you still wrapped in his embrace.

"We're going on a holidayyyyy!!! Yaaayyy~" Taehyung squealed as he jumped and laughed.

"Why are you so excited? We're just going skiing, Tae," you laughed at his excited grinning face.

"But I'm going w youuu finallyyy! This is like...like a present! But better! Wait- so, so you got the bonus? Your boss-"

"Mm-hm!" You smiled at him, proud.

Unexpectedly, Taehyung let go of your thighs and threw his arms up, laughing his head off in excitement. It was a good thing your hands were hooked on his neck, so you didnt fall.

"This is the BEST week off EVER!" Taehyung shouted to the ceiling.

"Tae, I know you're excited and all, but before the food gets here, shouldnt we go-"

"YES I ALMOST FORGOT!" He cut you off and hurriedly took off his jeans.

Shaking your head, you couldnt help but adore the boy. Always excited, 24/7. But you're never bored of it. In fact, you enjoy it. Also, you enjoyed the little evening bath w your beloved Kim Taehyung.
