Synopsis:
After their all famous Wolf-Growl comeback, SM decided to reward their Golden Boys with a vacation to a place of their choice!!
This was meant to be a chaptered fic, and I wrote this ages and ages ago, somewhere when EXO's wolf-growl cycle just ended. But I never really got to continue writing this fic so I dropped it, and after EXO showtime ep 5 I remembered about this forgotten fic so I dug it up and decided to post this one chapter muahaha.
(Kinda freaky that I wrote about BEACH as well. Like, is it fate or something? Whoa)
"Are you serious." Suho managed.
"I'm dead serious."
The twelve boys stared at each other with a mixture of emotions - disbelief, shock, excitement, happiness, but mostly just stunned beyond words.
Their SM manager leaned back on his seat casually, watching the expressions of the boys with profound interest.
"B-b-but..." Luhan stuttered.
"We gave SHINee a vacation, it's only fair you guys get one too." Their manager reasoned, and then he got a phone call. Before answering, he got up and walked towards the door, calling out, "decide where you guys want to go by tonight!!"
He left the room.
The twelve pairs of eyes staring at the door slowly turned back to themselves.
After an awkward pause that lasted all of 2 seconds, the madness ensued.
"Ohmygooooddddddddddddd yayyyyyyy!!!" Chanyeol shrieked, grabbing the poor soul beside him by the shoulders and shaking him very vigorously.
"Is he trying to troll us?" Chen tried to roll his eyes with a grin, but that proved to be impossible when someone almost twice the size of him is jerking him like he was trying to shake down apples from a tree.
"Yipeeeee!!" Luhan latched himself onto Sehun like a kid who found Santa Claus. "A holidayyyyyyyy!!"
Sehun shook his head in disbelief. "It's got to be a troll!!"
"That's what our SHINee sunbaes thought too. But they did go to film that awesome holiday of theirs..." Lay shrugged, as he tried to calm the overexcited Baekhyun bouncing on his chair.
"Ohmygawds we get to choose!! Lets go climb Mount Everest or something!!"
"Are you crazy?!" Tao yelled and bopped Baekhyun with a rolled up piece of paper. "This is our only chance to go on our FULL-BLOWN SHOPPING SPREE!!!!!" He spun around to shoot Kris a pointed glare. "And get a CERTAIN SOMEONE to buy that Gucci bag he owes me..."
Kris ignored him and started searching on his phone for possible holiday locations. "Lets see, where can we go..."
"Must we really go out of Korea?" D.O. yawned and stretched, arms flying out and whacking Suho in the face. "I kind of want to stay at home and just sleep..."
"Geez!!" Suho massaged his sore cheek, and scooted away from his attacker towards Kris, trying to peer over the bigger man's shoulder at his phone.
Xiumin grinned. "How about China!! I miss my baozis already..." He sighed and placed his elbows on the table, cupping his cheeks and gazing at nothing in particular.
Kai chewed his lip, and then leapt up in excitement. "Taemin, he went skydiving in snowy Switzerland!! Let's do that too!!" He quickly whipped out his phone to give his best friend a call, when Chen, having freed himself from the hyperventilating Chanyeol, patted Kai's back with a scoff.
"Kai-sshi, it's the middle of summer now..."
Kai's face dropped all the way to the floor, and proceeded to mope about how he "can't be like his awesome sunbae Taemin now".
Chanyeol huffed, tired from his mad outburst of energy earlier, leaned his head on Chen's shoulder, who swatted him away immediately. "Lets go somewhere really cool and weird like... I don't know, Papua New Guinea?"
"Where is that?" Sehun shot him a very blank look.
"Don't be silly guys" Luhan waved them off dismissively. "I tell you where's the best place to go..." He wriggled his eyebrows suggestively, and 9 members leaned in expectantly.
"... UK?"
"SOCCER!!!!" Xiumin screamed, and he and Luhan hi-fived each other really loudly, Suho swore their skin nearly split.
Not that he really cared. Right now the most immediate issue he had to solve was the fact that the remaining 2 members, Tao and Baekhyun, were at it rather badly.
"No shopppinggggggg!!" Baekhyun screeched at Tao like a fierce kitty, and Tao snarled right back, his already scary face twisting into a evil assassin glare that, if looks could kill, would shrivel Baekhyun into a tiny pulp of... Baekhyun. But obviously looks didn't kill, because Baekhyun was still going strong in the glaring contest.
"No hiking!!" Tao glowered.
"No shopping!!" Baekhyun spat back.
"Enough!!" Before Suho could step in, Kris pulled Tao's swivel chair backward and scooted such that he was in between the raging pair. Tao spun around in a circle, looking dazed, before he grabbed Suho's chair to steady himself.
"NO shopping AND NO hiking." He shot each of them a pointed look, and Tao ducked his head submissively, inching close to Suho. Baekhyun just pouted and peeked back at Kris with his small crescent hurt-puppy eyes.
"Ahhh... We should just go somewhere to relax." D.O. broke the awkward silence that followed Kris's angry outburst.
"Yeah, like the beach!" Chanyeol bounced up and grabbed Lay this time.
Kai nodded excitedly. "Yeah, the other day Taemin..."
He launched into his story about his awesome Taemin-sunbae at the beach to Sehun beside him, who yawned, only half listening. Kai ranted about his best friend a little too often sometimes.
"So set, beach? Any objections?" Kris waved his phone at his fellow members, who stared at him expectantly.
"... Nope? Okay we'll go with beach!! But which one..."
"New caledonia!!"
"Fiji Island Fiji Island!!"
"Aish, Bali is the best!!"
"No nooo noooooo, Bora bora Island!!!"
"Can we stick to Korea, guys..."
"Nooooo!!!!"
Suho groaned and tucked his head under his arm in exasperation. This was going to be hard.
