B&D • Best for the BestTITLE: The Exact Opposite
STATUS: ONGOING
SYNOPSIS: 4.5/10
The first part of the synopsis has a great start but if added more detailed information to help give insight to what readers will read in the future, it will be stronger. The character information is not needed since its already revealed in the first chapter.
ORIGINALITY: 5/10
This is a typical opposites attract between two rich characters with one having an unrequited love from another character. Though it has few original scenes, its not hard to assume what comes next. I do like the use of an original character. It gives the reader a fresh start into the story.
GRAMMAR/LANGUAGE: 6/10
There are some grammatical errors and incorrect use of the english language but not enough to confuse or disrupt the flow of the story. If you don’t mind skipping over some spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, it’ll be just fine.
FLOW/STYLE: 6/10
Some scenes could have transitioned to the next scene a lot more smoothly if added a few sentences to describle or move on to the next. Once one point of view is ended, the reader is imediately taken into the next point of view. The style is as if a young high-schooler wrote this story during his/her free time.
ENJOYABILITY: 6.5/10
This piece is written very relaxed and informal. It’s a simple easy story to read without detail-rich writing. Its written straightforwardly so you’re taken directly into the characters realm of thought. Though there were some points where scenes moved slowly and seemed unnecessary, its a good read if you aren’t into a lot of drama.
OVERALL: 28/50
COMMENTS:
This story was an easy lighthearted piece to read. If you’re not one for loaded language or detail-rich writing or simply do not care, this is a nice story to read. Though it may be a classic story with anticipated plots, its still interesting to see how this reader does his/her own interpretation of such plots.
