“Mr Kim, there’ll be an urgent meeting this afternoon.”

“I’m sorry?”

“Mr Ok summoned all of the director board for an urgent meeting this afternoon.”

“All of us?”

“Yes, Mr Kim. And he would like for you to present about the project in Gangnam. The foreign investors would like to see it today.”

“Today?! Huh um okay then. Thanks.” I smiled a bit at my secretary before she leave.

There was tons of work pending on my desk right now, then an urgent meeting? And on top of that I have to do a presentation? I can’t say anything, this is for my own future sake. I rushed myself to give a touch up on my slideshow. As been told, I head over for the meeting room 10 minutes earlier. I want to maintain my clean record at the eyes of the higher board of directors.  It is not that easy to climb over the list of director board at the age such as mine. It hasn’t been too long before the meeting finally started. As usual, they ramble around before my name finally came out.

“You can start now, Mr Kim.” Mr Ok told me. I cleared my throat before starting my presentation. It runs smoothly. I managed to deliver every single details of my presentation to the investors and of course, Mr Ok. He smiled, a contented one.

A few minutes passed, I can feel something vibrated in my pocket. I stopped the presentation.

“Excuse me.” They gave me a very stern look. I gulped a bit. I exited the room as I took out my phone out of my pocket.

“Hello, Joohyun-ah.”

“Baby, where are you?”

“Of course I’m at work.”

“When are you coming?”

“Come to where?”

“Don’t tell me that you forget. It is the wedding dress, Jongin-ah.”

“Look, whatever it is, I’m in the middle of a meeting right now. It is a very important deal. I need to settle this first. I’ll call you back.” I immediately hung up before heading back to the meeting room and apologize in the process.
