Jinki, Key, Jonghyun, Taemin. Say these four names to anyone who attends SM Academy, and they'll immediately know who you're talking about. The four boys have a reputation for being the best of friends. For the past eight years they've done nearly everything together, and this summer isn't an exception. Or at least it wasn't supposed to be. But now that summer break is nearing it's un-avoidable end, Taemin finds his friends aren't what they used to be after getting what Taemin might never have.  Girlfriends. The group of friends is becoming torn apart without a care in the world, except for poor Taemin, who couldn't care much more than he already does. With every passing day, he can only think about his barely-ever-there parents, his recent crush who harshly rejected him on the last day of school, and now, his friends who are slowly drifting apart. Even at his young age, he's become depressed. On his birthday, Kibum gets Taemin a diary to " vent " about his feelings, hoping it might help. Though at first, Taemin was hesitant, he's come to like writing in it. However, when a new cafe opens up in town, the four friends decide to visit it weekly to further attempt to cheer Taemin up, and Taemin sees little reason to use to diary,  though troubled, he's become a little less lonesome. But what happens when a new employee at the cafe gives Taemin one new reason to use his diary, and a million reasons to smile? ( Hint: Read on.)
