Description
Some people are simply more fragile than others. Prone to damage, they dirty faster, crack easier, and shatter beyond repair far too soon. As sad as it may be, that is simply the unfortunate reality of life.
Foreword
Sehun knew little about love. He had, however, over his past sixteen years of life formed a basic idea of what it should be like; sweet, beautiful and tender, something joyful and kind.
But Sehun had never been interested in experiencing love. He had always assumed that when he felt like it and found someone who suited his needs and wants best, he would simply make it happen. He would be in charge of when and who he fell in love with. He believed sentimental attachments were foolish and that he had to be careful of who he decided to be with.
He was sharp and he was selfish, and he didn’t want to be held down by something useless like love.
It was for this reason he was totally and utterly unprepared for the onslaught on feelings he experienced after meeting Jongin. The boy in the white room, the boy who had always been alone: his breakable boy.
Love wasn’t supposed to hurt; it wasn’t supposed to make him feel like his heart was being crushed. Everything he thought love was turned out to be wrong. It wasn’t gentle or sweet like he expected, it was harsh, burning and all-consuming. It tore him up and sliced his heart to shreds in the process.
And no matter how much it hurt him and how much he tried to escape, he couldn’t stop loving.
