Chapter 3

Don't Deny It

Sungyeol POV

"Kim Suji! Listen to me!"  I shouted.

"Wae?" she looked up at me. "You hurt me,"

"Just listen: I'm sorry, alright?"

"I don't believe you,"

"Suji,"

"I can't believe you when you say that," she took off the ring I gave her and handed it to me., "Mianhe," she walked away.

"Sungjong," I called.

"Ne, hyung?" he asked.

"Give this to Suji," I gave him the ring.

"Are you sure she'll take it?" he asked me.

"I hope so," I sighed. "At least try, though,"

"Arasseo," he ran off. Around 15 minutes later, he came back to me and returned it to me. "I'm sorry, hyung. I tried,"

"It's fine. At least you tried," I looked down and kept the ring in my pocket.

End of POV

"Where did you get this?" I stared at him as he pressed a ring into my palm.

"Noona, just take it," he told me.

"And I should because?" I looked down.

"He really wants you back." he told me.

"So?"

"Take it, and forgive him,"

"No. If I take it, then it means that I will take him back and that I forgive him,"

"Noona,"

"I'm sorry, but I can't take it,"

"I'll just give this back to hyung, then" he said quietly and left. I looked down.

                         .                   .                .

"Do you really hate hyung?" he looked at me.

"Yes," I looked down.

"Just because he did that?"

"Yeah. He really hurt me,"

"But that was a few months ago. The hurt should have disappeared by now. Even just a little,"

"For other people it would, but not me,"

"Anyway... Why won't you tell your breother about you and Sungyeol hyung?"

"He might get mad at me for not telling him,"

"How long did you keep it from him?"

"Over a year,"

"Oh. Well,  he might, but you're his sister. He'll forgive you sooner or later,"

"And if he doesn't?"

"That's impossiuble,"

"It's not. You think he'll forgive me quickly if I tell him after more than year?"

"Yes," he said. I sighed. "Tell me if you want to tell him, okay?"

"That won't be possible. I won't tell him,"

"You have to,"

"No, I don't,"

"If you keep it from him, he might really not forgive you,"

"Sungjong-ah,"

"Tell him," he said. I hesitated.

"Fine," I sighed.

"Promise me," he said, looking in my eyes.

"I promise," I said after a while.
