Chapter 2

Don't Deny It

Sungyeol POV

"One sorry can't have me forgive you that fast," she said. I sighed. "How can you make me believe that you're really sorry for what you did?"

"By this," I leaned down and kissed her. For a second, I thought she was kissing me back, then I felt a sting on my cheek. I pulled away and stared at her.

"Woya!" she shouted.

"You kissed back," I stared at her.

"I did not!" she protested.

"I felt it!" I said.

"Don't fool yourself," she left. I stared at her as she left. I knew I didn't imagine it. She just didn't want to admit it. I went back inside and got an ice pack from the freezer. I pressed it to my cheek.

"What are you doing?" hyung asked.

"Can't you see?" I asked.

"Then why are you doing that?" Sungjong asked.

"My exgirlfriend hit me," I admitted.

"Why?" Dongwoo hyung asked.

"Something," I said.

Suji POV

Why did he kiss me??? He knew I broke up with him.

"By this," he leaned down and kissed me. My eyes widened. I hit him as hard as I could. He pulled away and stared at me.

"Woya!" she shouted.

"You kissed back," he stared at me.

"I did not!" I protested.

Did I?? Or maybe he really was just imagining it.

"Yah! Why are you smiling? Are you crazy?" my best friend, Haeri laughed.

"Oppa's back," I said.

"Jjinja? When?" she asked.

"Yesterday," I replied.

"So that's why you're smiling like that," she said.  I smiled.

"Suji!" Woohyun oppa ran up to us. He smiled at me and winked at Haeri.

"Don't flirt," I said.

"Mianhe," he smiled brightly. "Is it true?"

"What's true?" Haeri asked.

"Sungyeol-ssi kissed you?" he asked.

"Yes," I said quietly.

"And you hit him?" he asked.

"Yes," I said again.

"Why did you hit him? Don't you-" she started but I cut her off.

"To make things clear, I don't have feelings for Sungyeol. Well, not anymore. Got it?" I said. They sighed.

"But he said that you kissed back," he said.

"I did not!" I said.

"Fine," they sighed.

"Are you sure you don't like him anymore?" she asked over the phone.

"Yes, I'm sure. How many times do I have to tell you?" I said. "Anyway, do you like Woohyun oppa?"

"Uhh... No," she said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes," she said. "I'm sure,"

"I think he really likes you, though. He keeps on flirting with you," I said. She was quiet for a long time. "Yah! Are you still there?"

"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow?" she said.

"Yeah," I hung up and laid down on my bed.

---Flashback---

"Yah! Lee Sungyeol!" I shouted. He looked around. When he saw me, his eyes widened.

"Suji, don't," Woohyun oppa whispered in my ear, holding both my hands.

"Let go," I said.

"No," his grip tightened.

"Let go," I repeated. "You don't know how this feels,"

"I already know just by looking at you," he said. "Besides, if I let go, you'll hurt him,"

"He won't only get hurt, he'll die too," I muttered under my breath.

"I hope you're joking," he said.

"I'm not," I said. "I'm serious,"

"Yeol!" he called. I bit my lip as he walked over to us, slowly. I could tell he was scared. "You jerk, why did you do that?"

"It wasn't real!" Sungyeol protested.

"You made it look like it was real," I said, tears flowing down my cheeks.

"But it really was fake!" he said.

"You could have told us first!" Woohyun oppa said.

"Mianhae, hyung," Sungyeol looked down.

"Don't apologize to me. Apologize to your girlfriend," Woohyun oppa said. Sungyeol looked at me. I glared at him.

"Mianhae," he said softly. "Forgive me?"

"No!" I shouted. "I hate you, Lee Sungyeol,"

"You don't mean that," he said gently, a hand on my cheek.

"I do," I said, taking his hand off my cheek.

"Suji-," he started.

"Just go!" I said.

"Please," he said.

"Yeol," Woohyun oppa said. "Just listen to her. She's already mad," Sungyeol sighed.

"We're over," I said quietly.
