Here I am
just another lie (Writing Challenge)Hyungsik came home from school, dragging his backpack inside with his little hand. He didn't come running to Minwoo like he usually did today, to show off his perfect score or just ramble on what and how much he ate today for lunch. Instead, he grabbed the older's hand, looking up at Minwoo with a frown and teary eyes. It's an expression that Minwoo rarely see from him and he hated it, big time
"Hey hey, what's wrong Hyungsik?", Minwoo asked, quickly hugging the latter who was already a crying mess.
"Please don't make me go there anymore, hyung. I don't like it no more", the younger managed to say between his sobs while he clutched his brother's shirt tighter, "I tried to fit in and gave everything that they wanted. I wish there is a way to stop them, hyung"
"Stop what? Tell me, hyungsik. Did they hurt you? They bullied you? God Hyungsik, please tell me", Minwoo didn't get a respond, Hyungsik just sobbed louder. Okay, that's enough. He was not going to just stay here, hugging Hyungsik while listening to him crying all day long. He is not that kind of brother.
"Come with me", Minwoo grabbed the younger's wrist and drove to his pre-school, directly went to the principle's office as soon as he got there. He didn't forget to slam the door open, he's furious and the principle needed to see that.
"I didn't bring him to this school so they can pick on him, so they can do whatever they wanted to him. I live my whole life to see my little brother's smile so what do you have to say on why are those tears pouring down his face?"
'He wasn't brought up that way. I raised him to be a happy person'
--years later--
Hyungsik stepped into the house, with a frown which Minwoo didn't expect him to
