She asked, "Are you okay? Are you sure you can handle it on your own?"
He said, "Yeah. I can handle it."
She said, "Just call or text me when you can't handle it anymore, okay?"

She thought, 'Is that all I can ever be? A friend?'
She replied back, "That's what friends are for."
