His alarm came early that morning. It also sounded vaguely different. Like a woodpecker, pecking away. Then he realised that someone had been knocking at the door. Getting up, he walked over to the door confused at who it might be but when he turned the handle, he realised to late, the possibility. Of course, standing before him was the girl he'd spent most of his night with the night before. Tiffany. She appeared to feel just as awkward as he felt judging by the manner in which she stood. He regretted having the thought too late. He hadn't even checked his look in the mirror, he dreaded to think of what a mess he was in at that moment. He could guarantee that his hair looked like a jungle. She could probably picture Tarzan swinging along from hair to hair. 

"Good Morning"

She looked up and he immediately felt the hot, Spanish day getting to him. Her smile was brighter than the sun could ever be.

"Good .. morning"

There was an awkward air about them as neither spoke another word.

She had felt a small sense of panic when she heard the handle click. Her roommates had just finished teasing her a little earlier about how she had fallen asleep and had caused Nichkhun to have to carry her back to her room. In all honesty, she was sensitive about her weight, paricularly around guys. She didn't know why but with him, she seemed to feel even more insecure about it. Did he have difficlty in carrying her? She had even made him give up his own duvet for her. She shook all of the insecurities out of her mind when he opened the door, immediately greeting him. Seeing his appearance, she couldn't help but smile. It was clear that he had only just woken up moments before, judging by the sleepy look in his brown, puppy like eyes. His voice was hoarse as he returned the greeting. The pajamas he wore and his ruffled hair made him look all the more like a cute, furry creature. She almost felt the urge to cuddle and pet him though she thought that it might  be crossing the line a little. She had to admit that even after waking, this man could still pull off being a model or celebrity.

She had to say, she was mesmerised for a moment or two there. She was in a trance, admiring each and every corner of the man's face.

When he coughed slightly, she finally remembered her whole purpose of knocking on his apartment door. 

"Thank you for lending this to me.. And for everything last night.."

He nodded in reply casually saying that it was 'no biggy'

"How can I repay you? Can I treat you to something? Are you free now?"

Usually, Nichkhun had never expected to be repaid for deeds he had done. This time however, he felt the need to accept the offer. He didn't want to admit the strange feeling he had in his stomach suggesting that he truly wanted to see her again and soon.

"Yeah okay, that would be great. Can you give me about half an hour?"

When he took his duvet back and shut the door, he couldn't surpress the excitement that filled his stomach. Usually, he would turn down offers to go out in the morning because he was too lazy. He never wanted to leave his bed and when he did, he always wanted to return to it. It was different today. He was thrilled. He couldn't help but smile at how much this 'repayment' seemed like a date. He had never gotten ready so quickly before. He styled his hair and checked the mirror more times than he could count on his fingers before he finally deemed himself ready. He decided to leave a note for his still sleeping roommates. He grabbed some last neccessities before heading downstairs and out the building to where Tiffany had said she'd be waiting for him.

Seeing her back, he approached, placing one of his caps on her head. It was important for her to protect her skin.

"It's really sunny. Wear this. I bet you haven't even got sun lotion on.."

As he said this, he opened up the bottle and applied a few spoldges on her face, being as delicate as he could. When he realised the close contact he had with her, he backed up handing her the bottle of lotion.

"Sorry.. It's a habit.."

She simply thanked him before slowly applying the sun lotion.

The first place Nichkhun had dragged her to was a nearby store which was displaying sunglasses. He grabbed a pair which matched with his own and paid for them.

"As a girl, I would've thought you'd be much more prepared than me"

She grinned at his caring nature, almost motherly.

"Why are you already buying things for me? I could've sworn that I was supposed to be repaying you.."

"Tiffany, I'm a guy.. I couldn't really let you treat me. I decided that you'll have to repay me with time. Consider this date a repayment"

She thought for a moment. Had he just said 'date'? She was surprised hearing that word but at the same time, glee filled her heart.
