We were both wrong
Description
You don't always end up with the one you love.
Fairytale never exists.
And when things you always dreamt of happen, you will want to turn back in time to stop it from happenning.
Humans, we are all complicated.
We are all liars.
White lies?
It's still a lie.
And we were both wrong.
A/N: This story is based on Kyuna - Kyuhyun and Yoona. I do not own the characters but the story is based purely on my own inspiration and imagination. It is my plot. As always, I'm more than welcome to recieve comments and upvotes. I've always write about Haesica. This is my second one-shot which is based on Kyuna, another ship that I really love. Do enjoy. Do note that the entire story would be based on Yoona's POV.
Do check out my other stories:
- Sweetness of the Heart (Chaptered: Haesica, Sifany, Taecyoon, Kyuna)

Foreword
My phone was ringing non-stop as i stared at that long white gown that was hung in front of my huge wardrobe. My heart was hurting so badly as I stopped myself from picturing how it would be like to be standing next to him in this beautiful gown, knowing that I'll never be the one sharing the wedding vow with him. I threw my body backwards to where my phone was.
Five missed calls.
The phone was ringing again. This time, I bravely wiped away those tears in the corners of my eyes before I clear my throat to answer the call.
"Yeoboseyo?"
"Ya Im Yoona! Why did you take so long to answer? Do you know how worried I was?" his voice echoed through the speaker and I laughed silently.
I wish you could be worried for me forever.
"Don't shout at me okay, I was having a shower! What can I do for you? Mr Groom-to-be?" I lied. I lied to hide away my pain. I've always been lying to him, and myself. I always lied about him being my best friend. Because in actual fact, I can't see him only as my best friend.
"Fine. Yoongieeee, can we meet up?"
That nickname was dreamy.
I wonder when is the next time I'll hear it from him again?
"Shouldn't you prepare to sleep to look best for your big day tomorrow?" I asked while chuckling. The other end of the line remained silent.
"Fine. Let's meet at our usual place then. You're really troublesome, Mr Cho." I continued and I heard him laughing on the other end.
I can never say no to him.
Because I love him.
And I know well enough that after tonight, I really need someone to teach me how to walk away from you, like I always wanted to three years ago.
