prompt:

becasue I wanted to write something along the lines of fluffy, because even Sungyeol needs some love, and because everybody needs a challenge.

warnings: language (probably). btw, there's a lot of typos and mistakes so ye, idk, i'm not gonna edit this anytime soon--enjoy it if you can.

Chapter 1: OH MY GOD. I literally said this out loud when I read the first few sentences.

"Sheryl is like white paint. It's pretty, pure and clean. When you open up the tube, can, tin, it's like nothing can taint it; funny thing is, white is too easy to corrupt and turn into something impure . . ."

Like omg. I'm so speechless. All I can say is "omg." This is so beautiful that I had to stop and take note of it. And then a mere few sentences later, I stopped again just to take in the beauty of this story.

Right from the start, I fell in love with Sheryl and Sungyeol's relationship. "Sungyeol likes her innocence, the way all her soft features melt into each other, and the way her attitude towards everything is so easy. So Sungyeol describes her as a dream girl." This is the sweetest Sungyeol ever.

I teared up a little at the ending. I can't imagined the pain she endured to keep her disease a secret and the pain Sungyeol went through; finding her letter; seeing and touching her lifeless body; realizing he's been sleeping next to his dead love all along.

The letter is beautiful too. The letter tore me apart such as the way Sungyeol tore the letter apart.
