She opened the door of the auditorium to find him sitting at the piano, playing their song.
He started to sing:
Your smile warms my heart
And gives me new strength
So I gather up my courage
And decide to love you wholeheartedly
The love I have for you cannot wait
Reminds me of me and you
The only words left to say are “I love you”
But I haven’t told you yet
I want to care for you well, treasure you well
The only words missing are your reply, saying you love me too
And want to be with me, hand in hand, holding you tightly.
I think back to the past, and I only remember the memories of you
She had made her way down the aisle and placed a hand on the piano. He was playing with his eyes closed, and now that he reached the end of the song, the lightly tapped his lips.
So she took the cue, and leaned in gently, feeling the warmth of his lips on hers.
