"Would she say that?" Jaerin thought to herself.

She was listening to the conversation between Kibum and Sunny, and tried to think about how Taeyeon would react. They were having lunch and she was sitting right smack between the two.

It was fine when they were chatting happily a few minutes ago.

But not now when she was stuck between them, while they are quarreling.

"Don't you agree with me?" Sunny turned to her.

"Oh... oh... errr... yes, definitely," Jaerin was caught by surprise and gave the answer she thought would come out of her sister.

Kibum was shocked, "What? Why would you agree with her?"

"Why would she not?" Sunny was indignant.

"Because the Taeyeon I know would never agree to this!" Kibum told her, trying to hint Jaerin to side him with the knowledge only he shared with her.

"Oh yeah? Because the Taeyeon I know just did!" Sunny exclaimed.

"Hey guys, both of you are right you know..." Jaerin started, but they were no longer listening to her.

"Ring~ Ring~ Ring~"

"Hello? Mom?" Jaerin answered her phone.

"Darling? A----- y--ou th---e?" Jaerin could tell it was her mother, but due to the static, she could not really hear what she was trying to say.

"Mom? I can't hear you," Jaerin excused herself from the debating pair and walked out of the cafeteria.

"W--- co---ing b-----... fly--- Ital-----... then C-----a, foll----- ---y Fra----... two mon----," her mother continued.

"Mom? Can you just text me? I can't really hear what you're trying to tell me," Jaerin repeated, and she heard her mother end the call.

After a couple of minutes,

From: Mom

We're going to China before going
to France for two whole months, so
we decided to come back home
from Italy first. Dad and I will be
home for two days before we head
off. Do let your sister know. Not
sure why her phone is switched off.

"Ki-Kibum-ah!" Jaerin stuttered after reading the message.

She immediately ran to find him.

"Is that girl answering?" Kibum asked Jaerin for the umpteenth time, and pretty annoyed by now since Taeyeon had previously promised to keep her new phone switched on in case of emergencies.

She shook her head.

They tried calling Taeyeon immediately after Kibum got to know the full story from Jaerin.

He had to let Sunny win the debate before she allowed him to leave the table.

"What do we do?" Jaerin panicked, "She did not ask for their permission but forged their signature on the forms sent by the school instead."

"Calm down," Kibum told her, though he was fretting inside as well.

After thinking for a while longer, while Jaerin continued dialing Taeyeon's second phone number, Kibum asked, "tell you what... let's stop calling her. There's nothing she can do anyway. Why don't we try a twin switcheroo?"
