Chae Won's eyes widened in disbelief as she saw the view in front of her now. What was Song Joong Ki doing on his knees in front of her appa? Was that blood on his face?

With those thoughts in her head, she rushed to approach Joong Ki and squats beside him.

"Joong Ki-sshi, you're bleeding." she searched for her handkerchief and wiped it carefully, afraid she'll hurt him. She turned to see her appa sitting towards the other side, refusing to see both of them. "Appa, why did you do this? If you're angry at Joong Ki-sshi, you should be angry at me, too. It was my fault that all of this......" she cuts her words because Joong Ki gripped on her hand, looking for her attention.

Chae Won turned her eyes to Joong Ki, whom shaking his head. "Chae Won-ah, this is between your appa and I." he said softly. Chae Won's frown at him.

"But..."

He tightened his grip on her hands, "I'm trying to confince him that I'm worthy enough for his daughter, so please, let me handle this myself." He stood up and at the same time pulled Chae Won to stand up with him.

He looked at Jae Seok, whom still refused to look at them them, "Jae Seok sonsaengnim, I love Chae Won with all my heart and if I can take back all the suffers I caused her, I'll do that."

Jae Seok still didn't budge at the words Joong Ki says, and after some time, Joong Ki thought it was enough for today, because he has a schedule he should catch up on.

At least Jae Seok didn't took every single job he had.

He silently sighing to himself and smiling sadly before saying, "I will come again next time, Jae Seok sonsaengnim..." and before he left, he smiled at Chae Won, reassuring her that everything is going to be alright. They are going to be alright.

After Joong Ki's gone, Jae Seok turns his chair around. His eyes met her daughter's, waiting for her to speak first.

"Appa..." was Chae Won's opening. Jae Seok's eyebrows twitched a little, but Chae Won didn't realize that. "Why are you doing this to me?"

"Do what?" he answered with an ignorant tone.

"Appa!"

"Chae Won-ah, ne ddal. You're my precious daughter. There's no way I let you to be with the man who would give you nothing but pain." he tries to soften her tone and gaze to Chae Won, but failed.

Chae Won's huffed. This is not what she expected when she decided to leave Joong Ki. She thought Joong Ki's fans whom are going to be protective of him and won't et him be with any girl. She didn't realize that the protective one was her own appa, who is now looking at her as if he dares her to say otherwise.

"He's a bastard who made you pregnant and then left you because he was trying to achieve his own dream. Such a selfish jerk!" Jae Seok continued when he didn't hear his daughter respond.

Chae Won opened , wanting to say the truth but then she remembered that Joong Ki asked her to believe on him to get her appa's forgiveness, so she shuts it again.

"Appa. Do you remember eomma?" was what she says after minutes of silence beetwen them.

"Why do you ask that?" Jae Seok's frown at the sudden change of subject.

"When she's gone, leaving you forever, did you regret not spending more time with her, appa?" she asks again, and then waiting for him to answer.

Jae Seok fell silent for a brief moment. "Everyday. I miss your eomma everyday and I regret I couldn't stay beside her when I should have. If I can turn back the time, I would spend more time and treat her better. She deserved more." Jae Seok's way of speak was like more to himself than to his daughter.

"You mean that? You would do anything for that to happen?" Chae Won's question brings him back to her. Jae Seok looks at his daughter.

"Of course."

"That feel of yours, is what I feel right now to Joong Ki-sshi." she softened her tone with a hope that Jae Seok will understand what she meant. "What happened between me and him was our fault. It wasn't just his fault alone like what you think." she continued, making Jae Seok frown.

"I love him, appa. I love him so much I don't think I can go through days without him. And if being with him is a mistake, I'd be happily make it again and again."

Looking at her appa fell in silent, Chae Won sighed. She is exhausted and doesn't know what to do anymore. For a moment, she's waiting for him to say something but he didn't do anything, just drawning himself into silence.

Walking to the door, she breaks the silence once more. "Appa.." she said, making Jae Seok slowly turning to look at her. "Saranghae. I love you and Joong Ki both with all my heart. Please don't make me choose between you and him. Please don't let my heart breaks again as it was before." she said with shaking voice.

Jae Seok noticed a tear fallen on her cheek but she hurriedly wiped it out and giving him a smile as sincere as she could, but he still could see the sadness inside that beautiful smile. And his heart starts to think,

Was it Joong Ki the one who makes her suffered, or was it himself?

"Il Woo...left the country?" was Chae Won responds when she heard the news from Geun Young. She nodded as an answer.

"He said he wanted to learn acting more seriously."

"Why didn't he said anything to me? He didn't even say goodbye!"

"He didn't say it to any of us. I found out from his manager when I accidently bumped on him the other day. I called him and he said he didn't want to say goodbye because it wasn't one. He will comeback someday."

Chae Won was speechless.

As if Geun Young knows her chingu thought, she spoke again, "He wants you to be happy with Song Joong Ki, Chae Won-ah. He even asked me to cheer you up as he couldn't do it himself."

Hearing Joong Ki's name, she smiles sadly and Geun Young saw that. "You and Joong Ki-ssi are okay, right?" she asked.

"Na do morugetta..." was Chae Won answers, and then she told her what was happening.

"Well, at least samcheon didn't force you to date other guy that he approved." Geun Young commented. "I was lucky Bum realized that he and I would never fall in love with each other before it's too late." she continued. Chae Won looks at her with concern.

"Kim Bum-ssi is a fool if he didn't fall in love with you. You're lovely, Geun Young-ah. Ask anyone in this country, they favor you." Chae Won tried to cheer up her bestfriend who just broke up not too long ago, but Geun Young shakes her head.

"Don't get me wrong, chingu-yah. I said I got lucky, right? Because I don't want him to fall in love with me. If he did, than we both would wasting ourt times by lying to ourselves. I know who was the girl he really loves. In fact, I was the one who told him to go approach her." she gives Chae Won smile that tells her chingu she's more than just okay.
